Shrewsbury International School Phnom Penh (SISPP) is "A School like no other in Cambodia". SISPP offers a British style education based on the National Curriculum of England for pupils in primary and secondary school.

 Our school is the newest member of the Shrewsbury family of schools to open for business, and our business is the 'serious fun' of learning. We are deeply connected to one of the most prestigious schools in the UK, Shrewsbury School, which is almost 500 years old and has nurtured distinguished alumni such as the famous naturalist Charles Darwin.

Our primary school opened in 2022 and this year, in September 2026, our new world class school, for all age groups, will open in a spectacular 7 hectare campus in Sen Sok.

Early Years School Nanny (2 Positions)

Position Summary

The Early Years School Nanny is an important part of the Early Years team.

The nanny helps young children feel safe, clean, happy, settled and cared for during the school day

Age Group: Pre-Nursery and Nursery children, aged around 2 to 4 years old

Reports To: Class Teacher / Early Years Lead / Head of Primary

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Keep children safe
  • Help with toileting and hygiene
  • Help with meals and rest time
  • Help children feel settled
  • Help with simple routines
  • Help during play
  • Keep the classroom clean and tidy
  • Work well with the team
  • Note: Nanny doesn’t teach, the Class Teacher is responsible for teaching, learning, assessment and parent communication about progress.

Languages:
  • English - Good
  • Khmer - Good
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • The nanny should have experience caring for young children aged around 2 to 4.
  • This may be from:​ ​working as a nanny;​working in a nursery;​working in childcare;​ caring for young children in a school or family setting.
  • These are helpful, but not required: first aid training; safeguarding training; food hygiene training; childcare experience; ability to speak English; ability to speak Khmer or other languages.
