Our Early Years Practitioners are expected to take a full, proactive role in the founding teaching team and to deliver an outstanding education for the Early Years children.

- Support for Pupils
- To support pupils’ development and promote independence in a safe, secure, challenging and enabling environment.

- Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
- UK level 3 or equivalent in Early Years Education
- Experience of working in and Early Years Education setting.
- Experience working with ages 2-5
- Experience working in a play-based learning environment.
- An understanding of the varied needs of children as they develop socially and academically.
- A knowledge of behaviour management techniques that support the running of an early years setting.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and to work using your own initiative.
- Experience working with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage.

Receptionist and School Assistant
Department Administration
Reports To Principal
Location Shrewsbury International School Phnom Penh - Chroy Changvar
- To welcome and assist all visitors, maintaining high levels of service and professionalism at all times.
- Helping families ensure their children access the building in the morning and the lift to Floor 1 from 7am.
- To assist with pupil welfare matters, always, but particularly at drop-off and pick-up times.
- To be responsible for the answering of the school telephone at opening in mornings; assisting callers, taking messages and passing on information as appropriate, and in a timely manner. This responsibility then shifts to the Admissions and Leadership Assistant role mid-morning.
- To be aware of responsibility as the first member of staff that visitors and parents will speak to upon visiting the school.
- To act as a first line of defence in our Safeguarding procedures.
- To ensure visitors sign in and out, wear their visitors badges when they are on site, and sign-in to declare they have read and understood the Safeguarding information.
- To ensure the Reception area is fully resourced and maintain information, displays and resources at all times.
- Daily management of pupil registration and attendance records for children, visitors and staff, ensuring that registers are always correct and ready, in case of emergencies.
- To take a lead in ensuring fire drills run smoothly, taking registers and sign-in sheets to the muster point.
- To support all staff, pupils and parents with their enquiries.
- To provide administrative support, such as: data entry, making phone calls, assisting with administration regarding the school facilities and services, selling school uniform and managing stock, photocopying, word processing, ordering supplies, mailing and courier duties, etc (to be directed by the Deputy Principal Early Years).
- Ensure the Reception area is tidy and presentable at all times, and always free from any health and safety hazards.
- Liaise with the school nurse, class teachers and other staff on matters relating to pupil wellbeing.

- To Maintain and stay updated with suppliers regarding purchase orders and payment

- Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge
- A Secretarial or Administration qualification is a plus.
- Receptionist experience is preferred.
- Must be fluent in both English and Khmer, both spoken and written.
- Experience working in an international school as a Receptionist or in the Administration Team is desirable

Accounting Officer
Div./Dept: Finance
Report to: Accounting Manager
- Support daily accounting duty, data entry, documentation & report;
- Perform accounting functions mainly A/P, Bank and weekly payment;
- Assist supervisor to prepare month end closing report;
- Reconcile account balance; and
- Provide support in ad hoc projects and assignment
- Degree holder or Higher Diploma;
- At least 1-2 years accounting experience in accounting department;
- Chinese Speaking
- Well versed in in MS Excel and Word;
- Good interpersonal & organization skills, open-minded, self-motivated and able to work to meet tight deadline;
- Fluent in English as well as Chinese is preferred
- Familiar with Quickbook and have book close experience is an advantage.
