The Director will manage and optimize our transformer manufacturing facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of transformer design and production.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the long-term growth and profitability of the manufacturing facility.
- Oversee all aspects of production, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and maximize quality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining high product quality.
- Manage the operational budget, driving cost efficiency and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective material procurement.
- Oversee the design and development of new transformers, ensuring they meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with customers, utilities, and authorities to ensure satisfaction and compliance.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and address any issues promptly.
- Monitor financial performance and implement measures to achieve financial targets.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Develop and maintain a culture of quality and excellence throughout the organization.
- Work collaboratively with other departments such as engineering, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and achieve company objectives.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or a related filed (MBA preferred)
Work History:
- Experience in a leadership role within the transformer manufacturing industry for 10 years as a minimum

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Ensure that production schedules are met, balancing efficiency with quality requirements.
- Ensure all operations comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement continuous improvement processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Assist in managing the operational budget with a focus on cost control.
- Support the design and development of transformers to meet customer specifications and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with production, quality control, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
- Address customer inquiries and issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on operational performance.
