Digital Security Specialist Consultant
Duration/Level of Effort: 100 working days (over 10 months)
Responsibilities
This consultant will provide technical and advisory support to improve the digital security capacity of civil society partners. The consultant will be part of the digital advisory team, and provide training, mentoring, advisory services/assessments, and technical assistance based on demand from ISAC partners. S/he will carry out activities under the direction of the Deputy Chief of Party/Senior Technology Program Manager in coordination with the Digital Development Specialists.
- Specific tasks to be completed under SOW include but are not limited to:
- Provide support to the project team members to develop and optimize digital security training support services and provide inputs to all project digital security and digital situational assessments.
- Manage content development, training delivery, and assessment of trainee satisfaction for digital security trainings.
- Provide routine digitl security coaching to ISAC partners.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other relevant fields. Professional security certifications are desirable.
- At least 4 years’ relevant professional experience related to cybersecurity, security frameworks, mobile security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, security, and risk management.
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in English and Khmer.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully supporting CSOs to enhance their digital security at the organization and/or individual levels.
- Previous work experience in the design, development, iteration, and deployment of technology solutions preferred.
Video Production Consultant
Duration/Level of Effort: 7 working days (over 4 months)
Responsibilities
In consultation with the project team and civil society partners, this consultant will produce one short video spot (2-3 minutes) telling the impact story of ISAC over five years. The consultant must have access to all necessary video production equipment including post-production tools.
- 5-7 years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree; or 2 years and a master’s degree in communications, media, or other relevant fields.
- Experience storyboarding, shooting, producing, and publishing video products, especially for social media.
- Excellent storytelling, communication, and writing skills in both English and Khmer at the professional level.
- Familiarity with USAID’s development objectives and branding and marketing regulations is preferred.
