Digital Communication Intern
Duration 6 months
The Purpose of Position:
The intern will liaise with the Communication for Development Specialist to deliver multimedia content, collect field photography/videography resources, enhance brand visibility, promote social change through youth-driven information and communication technologies initiatives over a 6-month period to advance organizational goals.
The intern will collaborate closely with the Communication for Development Specialist to support these efforts, gaining hands-on experience in impactful communications.

- Key result#1: Multimedia
- Learn and assist Communication for Development Specialist in producing and editing multimedia content, including editorial stories, videos, newsletters, graphics, infographics using tools like Canva (preferred), Adobe Premiere, or Photoshop
- Learn to produce digital content to amplify FH Cambodia’s social impact messages
- Report regularly to the Communication for Development Specialist for feedback and guidance
- Key Result #2: Field Photography and Videography Resource Collection
- Assist in capturing photos and videos during field trips or events
- Organize and catalog field photography/videography resources.
- Key Result #3: Branding and Enhanced Visibility
- Assist in maintaining brand consistency across multimedia and campaign materials
- Learn to design branded materials (e.g., branded templates/materials)
- Key Result #4: Youth-Driven ICT and Social Change Campaign
- Contribute to campaigns engaging youth in information and communication technologies driven community initiatives
- Assist with the Communication for Development Specialist to create content (e.g., social media posts, blogs, videos) to promote youth-led information and communication technologies initiatives for development.
- Skills and Competencies
- Skilled in multimedia tools (e.g., Canva preferred, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro).
- Photography and videography skills, including recording and editing.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Meta or Google Analytics).
- Interest in information and communication technologies for development and youth engagement strategies
- Basic knowledge of branding principles.
- Collaborative, creative, community-driven, and detail-oriented
- Willing to learn new skills
- Relevant education and multimedia skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written Khmer and English
- Demonstrated interest in social change, youth in information and communication technologies, and branding
- Quality of portfolio and application materials.
- Education
- Currently enrolled in year 3 or graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
- Additional Requirement:
- Commitment to a 6-month internship
- Access to camera equipment and willingness to travel to field locations.
- Language: Proficiency in spoken and written Khmer and English.
