Reporting Line: This position will be supervised by the national Programme Policy Officer - CBT
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF ASSIGNMENT:
To this end, WFP is seeking to recruit a Digital Assistance Services Assistant to support data management. Under the supervision of the National CBT Programme Officer, the Assistant will support the country office (CO) in data management, cleaning and analysis. This will include support on data integration feasibility analysis and on data quality control, as well as other related duties.
- Support the implementation of data quality control within the Cambodia CBT programme, and test the data integration in the SCOPE training environment.
- Document and report on CBT Data integration and consistency between partner databases and SCOPE.
- Engage with Programme and IT colleagues to support in identifying gaps in data integration and linkages for future cash-based transfers interventions.
- Capture, document and present (i.e., through diagrams, flowcharts, data models, user experience designs, storyboards) CBT data processes.
- Through the appropriate channels, support the efforts of technical teams on outstanding operational issues and changes relevant for the CO;
- Where relevant, support the CO in extending operational support to partners for the implementation of WFP’s CBT programmes; and
- Perform any other duties as required.
- Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in business management, computer science, telecommunications engineering or social sciences is desirable.
- Language: Proficiency in English and Khmer language.
- DESIRED EXPERIENCES FOR ENTRY INTO THE ROLE
- Experience:
- At least 3 years progressively responsible professional experience in business systems analysis, design and development.
- Experience in collaborating with different stakeholders or service providers to design and decide on payment mechanisms and instruments as well as building the capacity of others.
- Experience in client-facing roles in technology implementation projects, preferably in a humanitarian or development context is desirable.
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Possession of a combination of broad business skills and IT experience including: General management skills in business and public sector contexts; Business analysis including creation and review of functional and non-functional business requirements for IT solutions. At least a foundational training or 1 year experience in data analysis or related roles (data science, database management/design, data shaping)
- An understanding of humanitarian and development programmes including CBT operations is desirable.
