- Securing Accountability
- Building staff members’ sense of internal accountability.
- Meeting the demands for external accountability.
- Aligning student's accountability standards with the international programmes.
- Master's Degree in Education/Educational Administration or Business Administration or similar qualifications.
- Proficiency in professional writing and speaking in Khmer.
- English as a first language or proof of professional English proficiency.
- Solid experience in teaching and classroom management.
- Solid experience in school leadership and managing teaching and learning.
- Proof of reputable personal and professional integrity with good records.
- Experience and familiarity in curriculum management, accreditation and compliance is a plus.
- Familiarity with trust-based approach and restorative practices is a plus
International Programme Teachers
- Job Responsibilities:
- Instruct the set curriculum and prepare in advance all materials and lessons
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning by utilising a variety of appropriate teaching strategies.
- Prepare lesson plans, outlining what will be covered in the class
- Complete student report cards in each term/semester for each student
- Create newsletters and/or other communication materials for the class
- Maintain facilities, resources, and materials in his/her classroom and the school
- Provide care and ensure the safety and well-being of every child in the school, ensuring adequate supervision of safe recreation and play periods for the students during class recess or break times.
- Organise Parent-Teacher conferences at the end of each term/semester
- Attend all school functions, public seminars and other professional development activities
- Perform other reasonable tasks requested by the school management
- Ethical Responsibilities
- Observe strictly the FIS Policies, Internal Rules and Protocols
- Make use of constructive criticism and avoid the use of sarcasm, undue criticism, inappropriate language, and behaviour.
- Observe professional lines of supervision and communication at all times, inside and outside the school and the community.
- Respect and protect the confidentiality of student records and information
- Bachelor Degree in Education or Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and/or a degree in a relevant field with a valid teaching licence.
- Experienced in teaching the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) Program.
- English as a first language or proof of excellent professional English proficiency
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and working with children and young people
- Demonstrated professional and personal integrity
- Clean criminal record/background check from home country or where applicable.
Communication and Marketing Specialist
- Strategic Support for Students’ Recruitment and Community Engagement
- Support the Head of Community Engagement in formulating and implementing an effective communication and branding strategy with existing parents and students.
- Establish a student recruitment strategy that enhances public engagement and promotes trust
- between FIS and the wider society.
- Support the Head of Community Engagement and the FIS Management to implement school-wide action plans related to community engagement, student recruitment, and public relations.
- Support for Student Admission
- Collaborate with admissions and academic departments to ensure consistent, clear, and engaging messaging throughout the student inquiry and enrollment journey. Use admissions data to inform targeted communications strategies and identify areas for improvement in community engagement.
- Contribute to the refinement of workflows and materials used during the admissions process to support student population growth.
- Marketing Management
- Assist in formulating a marketing strategy that is aligned with the school vision, mission and values, strategic plan, educational anchors and school-wide learner outcomes to advance the educational values with the school community and a profitable business operation.
- Coordinate the website, Facebook, and other chosen digital platforms in collaboration with the FIS Management, Community Engagement team, and affiliates.
- Respond to feedback from the public and community members with the aim of promoting a positive image and maintaining the school's integrity and reputation.
- Produce information, communication, and educational campaigns through social media, virtual and physical exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Monitor progress and success of campaigns using various metrics, and submit reports of performance and use data consistently to improve all activities related to community engagement.
- Support relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities.
- Internal and External Communication
- Managing the school's social media channels and accounts and ensuring that all content is high-quality, engaging, and in line with the school’s vision, mission and values.
- Scheduling and coordinating design production and posting on the channels and monitoring the efficiency and reach.
- Creating copy for publishing
- Coordinating translations
- Updating website copy and images
- Writing blogs
- Creating staff surveys
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure the smooth execution of events (limited responsibilities)
- Assisting with the logistics and communication for extracurricular activities
- Coordinating photoshoots
- Maintaining an inventory of professional photos and ensuring that they are used effectively in school communications
- Running and managing school ads, including tracking and recording ad spending
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communication, Marketing, or related field.
- Fluency in both Khmer and English Language, with excellent speaking and writing skills
- Google/Facebook Digital Certificates preferred
- Familiarity with social media management tools such as Meta Business Suite, Asana and other related apps/softwares is preferred.
- Experience in Facebook Business Suite and Ads Manager
- Facebook, TikTok, and IG management experience
