Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for both the Electricity Distribution and Water Treatment/Distribution operations.
- Develop and implement long-term plans for infrastructure investment, maintenance, and expansion with a focus on customer acquisition, power/water loss reduction and increased service reliability.
- Oversee financial performance, ensuring efficient budgeting, cost control, profitability, and monitoring of accounts receivable and inventory.
- Manage risk mitigation strategies for potential disruptions, outages, and emergencies, implementing plans to reduce service interruptions.
- Maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders.
- Develop and implement safety programs to ensure employee and public safety.
- Implement and oversee a customer service strategy that prioritizes prompt and courteous resolution of customer inquiries, complaints, and disputes.
- Foster a culture of customer focus within the organization, ensuring all departments are responsive to customer needs.
- Lead and oversee project management initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability, and service delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to optimize operations.
- Prepare and submit annual reports to regulatory authorities on time and in accordance with all requirements.
- Represent the company at industry functions and community events.
- Other jobs assigned by management.
- Provide direct support and act as a trusted advisor to the Director.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of both utility divisions, including:
- Supervising assigned department managers.
- Developing and managing departmental budgets and ensuring adherence to financial targets, including monitoring of accounts receivable and inventory.
- Leading and motivating departmental staff.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce power/water loss.
- Leading project management initiatives assigned by the Director.
- Conducting performance evaluations for direct reports.
- Providing career development opportunities for departmental staff.
- Receptive to calls from local authorities to attend events, resolve customer issues.
- Be prepared to assume the Director's role in their absence, including full responsibility for all Director duties.
- Represent the Director at meetings and industry events (as delegated).
- Manage special projects assigned by the Director.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master's Degree is preferred
Work History:
- Experience in the utility industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role for 10 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Proven experience in managing complex operations and a large workforce.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for electricity distribution and water treatment/distribution.
- Excellent financial literacy and budgeting skills.
- Experience in project management methodologies.
- Valid driver's license (may be required).
