Job location : Angkor Hospital for Children, Siem Reap
AHC has zero-tolerance to Child Abuse, Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and Sexual Harassment (SH).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To provide a comprehensive dental management to the patients in AHC and the outreach sites.
- To promote the dental awareness to the patients and their caregivers through dental health education.
- To build the capacity of the staff in the dental department by sharing knowledge and experience.
- Any other appropriate tasks delegated from the Chief of Dental Department.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
- Khmer - Good
- English - Good
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Required Qualification: To be registered in the Cambodian Dental Council.
- Working Experience: Not necessary but preferable.
- Confident to produce and understand written and spoken English at professional level.
- Keen to learn and share knowledge and experience.
- Able to complete the following procedures competently : Palpotomy, Extraction, Filling, Root canal treatment, Incision and drainage, Dental sealants
- Medical Doctor or specialized in Dentist. or higher from an institution recognized by Ministry of Education Youths and Sport, Cambodia.
- Willing to learn and improve knowledge.
- Good command of English and Khmer (written / spoken / comprehension).
- Computer literacy.

- Ability to work under pressure due to the heavy patient load.
- Willing to travel locally with our staff to the outreach sites.
- Flexible working times and ability to work day and on call basis.
- Ability to build good inter-personal relationships.
