Catholic Relief Services (CRS) was founded in 1943 by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to assist the poor and disadvantaged. CRS returned to Cambodia in 1991 and currently works in the sectors of Health, Education and Climate Change Adaptation, with government and civil society partners. CRS head office is located in Phnom Penh.

Position Summary

Based in Sereisaophoan Hospital, Banteay Meanchey Province

Data staff works closely with PHD, PASP Manager, OD Director, NCHADS teams, and CRS’s Provincial Team Leader/Senior Project Coordinator/Senior Project Officer/provincial coordinator for day-to-day data for follow up the cases at the ART sites, linkage with other services in referral hospital, entry and assist with the design and maintenance of data management tools, some opportunity to follow up PLHIV, and the collection and analysis of data from ART services, TB/HIV, PMTCT, STI, mental health/PNTT/PSF/PHV/ and VCCT services as well as work cross cutting with other projects of CRS to serve the poor and vulnerable. Your service and community interpersonal skills contribute to projects that benefit local communities that consistently applies best practices and continuously works towards improving its impact.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Case management
  • Data staff works as a team with the CAW, FBW, CAC, ACC, AMC for extract data such as PLHIV appointment date, next appointment, CD4, VL and PLHIV LTFU​ etc.
  • Data staff calls to follow up the patients who are miss appointment to return to services.
  • Data staff works with ART team and PASP/CMC by day-to-day and meeting to discuss and follow up the cases including VL test, CD4 test, and extract information for the cases who are suspected failure in treatment, poor adherence, and poor retention etc.
  • Go field for follow up the PLHIV while require by project/Provincial Coordinator/Provincial Team Leader/ Senior Project Coordinator/Senior Project Officer.
  • Data management
  • Data staff enters paper-based data from health facilities and maintain data in the NCHADS ART data management databases.
  • Data staff collects, manages and stores all client/patient and routine service provision data from STI, VCCT, TB/HIV, PMTCT/mental health/HPV/PSF, and ART in health facility.
  • Data staff collaborates with concerned units at NCHADS to review, design and update data collection tools and recording format, utilizing new information technology and network systems.
  • Data staff works closely with health facilities and other partners to ensure regular collection and submission of patient data required for the data management system.
  • Data staff presents the data in appropriate reports and formats on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for use by all involved partners.
  • Data staff undertakes any other duties assigned by the PHD, PAO Manager, OD Director, NCHADS, and CRS’s provincial coordinator.
  • Data staff prepares daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual report and other reports based on data management system requirement.
  • Other duty as require from ART team leader and PTL/SPC/SPO
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer Science or related filed.
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Have ability to install, maintain databases software system (SQL server)
  • Have previous experience in working in HIV/AIDS field.
