- Accurately label and annotate large volumes of data, including images, text, audio, or video, according to project-specific guidelines.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across datasets and labeling tasks.
- Participate in the full data lifecycle from data intake, preparation, annotation, quality review, and revision.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and project managers to ensure data labeling requirements are met.
- Use proprietary tools and annotation platforms to complete tasks efficiently and correctly.
- Follow detailed instructions, ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding, and respond constructively to feedback to improve annotation quality.
- Maintain documentation of labeling guidelines and contribute to the continuous improvement of annotation processes.
- Adhere to Orbital’s data privacy, security, and compliance policies.
- Requirements
- Native Khmer speaker only
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Written and spoken English ability at a professional and technical level
- 1-2 years of experience in a data annotation or similar role (preferred but not required).
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow complex guidelines and apply them consistently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently as needed.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and the importance of data quality (a plus).
- Experience using annotation platforms or tools such as Labelbox, SuperAnnotate, CVAT, or similar is a plus.
- Familiarity with structured data formats such as JSON or XML is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
