Data Collection and Reporting Officer

Position Summary

Do you have experience in data collection systems and preparing reports for donors? Are you interested in working with innovative social services for marginalized children & youth? Then join us!

You will be working with the Mith Samlanh team, which counts nearly 300 professionals working together to provide innovative social services to marginalized children, youth, their families and their communities.

What will you do?

As a Data Collection and Reporting Officer, your responsibilities is providing direct support to data collection and reporting manager to collect data from projects, analyzing and writing report for external stakeholders.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Your responsibilities as the Data Collection and Reporting Officer will include the following:
  • Working directly with the teams on the field and support them to collect accurate data about their work
  • Preparing qualitative and quantitative reports and contribute to analyzing the results
  • Conducting field visits and collecting exciting case stories and best-case practices
  • Coordinating regular meetings between the teams and ensure the sharing of results
  • Training and supporting the team to correctly use data collection forms and systems
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • About you:
  • You have good understanding of overall the projects that aim at improving the lives of marginalized populations, with children in the focus
  • You have a proactive and dynamic personality and enjoy bringing practical solutions to the table
  • You have experience in data collection tools, data management, log frames, monitoring and report writing
  • You have excellent computer knowledge with command of Excel and other Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet)
  • Your English is good, both written and spoken
  • You have very good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with multiple teams

  • Partnering with companies that would like to recruit new team members
  • Designing fun and creative activities to motivate others to become entrepreneurs
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • You are passionate about supporting people to find jobs/businesses and become independent
  • You feel confident to call and meet with companies and other employers
  • You understand what is needed to successfully run a small business
  • You have good training skills and you know the key things to be a good worker
  • You know how to connect the right person for the right job
  • You are independent and very well organized
  • You are a confident computer user and you can do basic reporting
  • Your level of English is good (spoken and written)
