CSR & Community Impact Coordinator
Reports to: Head of Operations
Employment: Full-time (Monday–Friday, occasional weekends for field visits)
- Grants Monitoring (20%)
- Maintain a schedule of reporting deadlines for all partner NGOs receiving grants
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure funds are being used as agreed
- Collect photos, receipts, and written updates for internal records
- Visit supported sites to check implementation progress and document results
- Learning Centre & School Monitoring (15%)
- Conduct regular visits to ABOUTAsia-supported schools and learning centres
- Gather feedback from teachers and students on the support provided
- Document maintenance needs, resource gaps, or areas for improvement
- CSR Program Coordination (25%)
- Expand and organise ABOUTAsia’s CSR initiatives, including school donations, staff volunteering, and guest-supported giving
- Coordinate logistics and communications with schools, NGOs, and internal teams
- Support staff and guest engagement in responsible and respectful ways
- Track CSR activity and contribute to internal and external updates
- Social Impact Data & Reporting (20%)
- Maintain simple records of all programs and support delivered
- Help prepare quarterly updates and contribute to ABOUTAsia’s annual social impact report
- Participate in internal “social audit” processes through site visits, data collection, and photos
- Flag concerns, feedback, or learning opportunities from the field
- Stakeholder Engagement & Internal Communication (15%)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with NGO staff, and community partners
- Keep updated contact records and meeting notes
- Share relevant updates with internal teams to support transparency and coordination
- Contribute impact stories or highlights for ABOUTAsia’s marketing or communications
- Other Tasks (5%)
- Translate between Khmer and English during site visits or in documentation
- Assist in organising community visits, workshops, or tours
- Support broader operations or social impact activities as needed
- Required:
- Strong communication skills in Khmer; intermediate English (speaking and writing)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable travelling independently to schools and NGO sites
- Basic computer literacy (email, Word, Excel, Google Drive)
- Prior experience in a school, NGO, tourism, or community-focused role
- Experience with reporting, documentation, or simple administrative tasks
- Genuine interest in community development and ethical tourism
- Preferred (but not required):
- Previous experience managing small grants or CSR projects
- Confidence in translating and preparing simple written updates
- Photography, storytelling, or communications experience
