Position Summary

The Crop Manager will play a critical role in improving crop productivity, operational discipline, cost control, market-oriented production planning, and sustainable agricultural management across KSCAC’s integrated farming systems.

Employment Type: Full-Time (Stay-in Position)

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Crop Production Management
  • Plan, organize, and supervise all crop production activities.
  • Manage vegetable farms, greenhouse systems, crop cultivation, and planting schedules.
  • Monitor crop growth, crop health, harvesting schedules, and productivity performance.
  • Ensure proper land preparation, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and disease prevention.
  • Production Planning & Operational Control
  • Develop crop production plans based on seasonal cycles and market demand.
  • Coordinate daily farming activities under KSCAC’s Operational Command System (OCS).
  • Monitor crop productivity, yield performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that all crop activities are carried out in accordance with approved production schedules.
  • Cost Control &Profitability
  • Control farming input costs, including seeds, fertilizers, chemicals, water, electricity, and labor.
  • Minimize operational waste and optimize resource efficiency.
  • Support KSCAC’s profitability and financial sustainability objectives.
  • Assist management in evaluating the profitability of crop activities and identifying non-profitable operations.
  • Operational Reporting & Data Management
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly crop production reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of planting, harvesting, yields, input usage, and crop losses.
  • Coordinate reporting with KSCAC’s Financial Command System and OCS dashboard.
  • Support leadership by providing production data for operational decision-making.
  • Team Leadership & Staff Supervision
  • Supervise crop farming workers and field staff.
  • Train staff on crop management SOPs and agricultural best practices.
  • Maintain discipline, teamwork, and productivity across all crop operations.
  • Ensure daily work schedules are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Crop Health & Quality Control
  • Monitor crop quality standards and market readiness.
  • Implement effective disease prevention and pest management systems.
  • Ensure proper post-harvest handling and quality preservation.
  • Improve crop consistency and minimize crop losses.
  • Sustainable Agriculture & Integrated Farming
  • Support KSCAC’s integrated farming and circular agriculture systems.
  • Coordinate crop production activities with aquaponics, aquaculture, livestock, and BSF (Black Soldier Fly) systems.
  • Promote sustainable agricultural practices and efficient resource utilization.
  • Market & Harvest Coordination
  • Coordinate harvesting schedules with the marketing and sales teams.
  • Ensure crop supply aligns with market demand and buyer requirements.
  • Support crop production planning based on market opportunities and profitability objectives.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Experience in crop farming, greenhouse management, vegetable production, or agricultural operations.
  • Knowledge of crop planning, pest control, irrigation, and soil management.
  • Ability to prepare reports and maintain operational records.
  • Willingness to stay full-time at the KSCAC Head Office in Kampong Cham Province.
  • Experience in commercial farming or cooperative systems is an advantage.
