Position Summary

Department: Admission

Reports to: Dy Manage, Admission

Performance Evaluation: Head of Admission/ Dy Manager, Admission

General description:

Reviews prospective students’ applications and directs them to the appropriate sources for guidance on courses of study, financial aid, scholarships, or other information. Meets with prospective students/ parents and answers questions about the school programs, areas of study, and opportunities for students.

Counsellor, Admissions assist students as they tour, evaluate, interview with, and apply to colleges, and may take part in the admissions decision-making process. They also represent their schools at recruiting events and maintain healthy alumni networks.

Salary Range: Competitive (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Type: Full Time – Regular (Monday –Saturday Half Day) -(7:30am-5:00pm)

Commencement: As soon As Possible

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Works closely with the Admissions Head to plan actions for achievement of monthly goals ,completes the daily follow up tasks and work towards the achievement of these targets
  • Ensure that all data is accurately uploaded on the CRM without delay
  • Assists in the planning and organising of various programmes and activities in the campus, such as Open House, parent-teacher events, orientation, etc.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing and Academics teams to develop strategies to increase enrolment numbers
  • Develops parent engagement strategies to quickly and effectively build relationships with prospective parents
  • Able to understand the key pain points and drivers of prospective parents, and align the school’s offerings to their needs
  • Monitors the offline and online channels for leads and follows up with prospective parents (e.g. one-to-one counselling for offline channels, quick response to emails and web queries for online channels or tele conversations, etc.)
  • Reviews the effectiveness of the various channels and shares feedback with the Admissions Head
  • Acts at the first point of contact, guides new parents through the Admissions process (e.g. documents, scholarships, admissions fees, etc.)
  • Keeps abreast of competitor offerings
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Degree level or equivalent experience
  • Prior admissions experience is a plus
  • Approachability and willingness to help (solution orientated);
  • A discreet and diplomatic nature with respect for confidentiality at all times;
  • Confident and calm in handling questions and queries;
  • Able to work comfortably with repeated interruptions and unexpected requests;
  • Able to produce accurate work and actively checks output;
  • Works flexibly, able to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines in a busy environment;
  • Able to use initiative, work as part of a team, happy to receive and accept direction/delegation;
  • A good verbal and written command of the English language (including spelling and grammar);
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, OneDrive, Outlook).

The secondary Counsellor is a part of our Secondary Student Support team:

Salary Range: Competitive (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Type: Full Time – Regular (Monday – Saturday (Half Day) -(7:30am-5:00pm)

Commencement: August 2025

  • Manage university and career counselling for individual students in Y12 and Y13
  • Design and implement a career/post-secondary planning curriculum for Harrods
  • Oversee Harrods social-emotional learning initiatives
  • Lead Harrods’ Secondary Student Support team

PE& Swimming Teachers

Position Summary

Department: OPERATION

Report to: Segment Coordinator

General description:

The PE& Swimming Teacher is responsible for delivering quality and coach the students especially early year and ability to develop swimming skills, technique and confidence in the water. He/she must have a good management, disciplines, safety and well-being of the students.

Salary Range: Competitive (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Type: Full Time – Regular (Monday – Friday)

Applicants: Local resident/Expat

Commencement: ASAP

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • To teach, train and prepare students for various sports activities such as basketball, football, and swimming, etc. based on class schedules.
  • Plan and effectively organize class time and lesson plans
  • Ensure safe provision of all equipment and ensure it is used correctly
  • Make sure safety standards are followed in sessions and undertake risk assessments
  • Identify students’ ability and encourage them to reach their full potential
  • Provide explanations and demonstrate swimming techniques
  • Teach Physical Education and swimming under the curriculum of quality sport activities
  • Record and report on the development, progress and attainment of children including initiating meeting with parents to discuss attainment and progress
  • Keep a disciplined class whilst promoting the general well-being of children.
  • Teach with encouragement and positive reinforcement
  • Provide for consistency in instruction by working each assigned period
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the school principal.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards PE/swimming
  • Proficient in English (speaking, writing and listening);
  • The ability to inspire confidence and motivate swimmers
  • Perseverance and patience
  • The ability to encourage people and put them at ease
  • An understanding of how to differentiate in a coaching session especially kids
  • Knowledge of swimming strokes and teaching levels
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
