Cost and Store Controller
Starting July 1, 2021 (earlier start possible)
Summary of Position
The primary purpose of this role is monitoring, updating and analyzing costs against the budget; controlling inventories including the registration, movement and recording of stocks; as well as preparing reports for the Finance and Admin Manager
- Main Responsibilities
- Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database,
- Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs),
- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies,
- Analyze and report profit margins,
- Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts,
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions,
- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS),
- Keep a record and maintaining cycle counts of all inventories in the store,
- Receive and reconcile the inventory with the purchase order listings, delivery order (DO),
- Prepare goods receipt notes and stock in-out vouchers,
- Prepare reconciliation inventory report by each store cross-checked with the warehouse report.
- Requirements
- Khmer national
- Degree in Accounting & Finance, or relevant field,
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Cost and Store Controlling (hospitality industry preferred),
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel; Accounting Software (QB) is a plus,
- Strong analytical skills and negotiation abilities,
- Good command over spoken and written English,
- Well organized and detail-oriented,
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, open-minded.
