- FAMILY ASSESSMENT PROGRAMS
- Comprehensive Family Evaluation:
- Design and implement standardized family assessment protocols covering economic, social, and psychological dimensions
- Develop assessment tools to identify family strengths, vulnerabilities, and intervention needs
- Conduct regular family assessments to track progress and adjust support strategies
- Train staff in culturally sensitive assessment methodologies and data collection
- Maintain confidential family assessment databases and tracking systems
- Risk and Opportunity Analysis:
- Assess family economic capacity, employment readiness, and skill levels
- Identify barriers to family stability including education, health, and social factors
- Evaluate family assets, resources, and support networks
- Develop individualized family strengthening plans based on assessment findings
- Monitor and evaluate assessment accuracy and program responsiveness
- STAKEHOLDER & PUBLIC PARTNERSHIPS
- Employment & Skills Development Partnerships:
- Establish strategic partnerships with private sector employers, training institutes, education institutes.
- Coordinate with government employment services and vocational training centers
- Develop agreements with companies for job placement, apprenticeships, and skills development programs
- Create referral systems connecting families to employment and training opportunities
- Maintain database of job opportunities and skills requirements in local markets
- Government Social Schemes Integration:
- Build relationships with government social protection agencies and welfare departments
- Facilitate family access to government benefits, subsidies, and social security programs
- Coordinate with education authorities for children's schooling support and scholarships
- Link families to government healthcare, housing, and food security programs
- Advocate for policy improvements and expanded social protection coverage
- Multi-Sector Collaboration:
- Partner with financial institutions for microfinance and banking services
- Coordinate with NGOs, CBOs, and community organizations for complementary services
- Engage local authorities, traditional leaders, and community structures
- Participate in inter-agency coordination meetings and joint programming initiatives
- Represent organization in stakeholder forums and policy dialogue platforms
- INCOME GENERATION ACTIVITIES
- Livelihood Program Development:
- Coordinate specialists to design income generation programs based on assessments
- Partner with experts to develop microenterprise and training initiatives
- Facilitate connections between families and financial service providers
- Link families with agricultural, business, and industry specialists
- Economic Empowerment Support:
- Connect families with business development consultants and mentors
- Broker access to funding sources and market opportunities
- Coordinate entrepreneurship training through partner organizations
- Oversee technical assistance delivery by subject matter experts
- Sustainability & Growth:
- Coordinate outcome tracking with M&E specialists
- Facilitate alumni networks and peer support systems
- Partner with community organizations for program sustainability
- Oversee documentation and scaling through specialist teams

- Educational Requirements:

Senior Counselor

Job Summary:
We recognize the deep and lasting impact of trauma on survivors of abuse, exploitation, and trafficking. As the Senior Counselor in Cambodia, you will lead our Counseling team in providing holistic, trauma-informed support to women and children across our programs. This leadership role demands clinical expertise, strategic oversight, team development, and a deep commitment to survivor-centered care. You will play a vital role in shaping the therapeutic approach of the organization while directly contributing to the healing and empowerment of survivors.

- Strategic Leadership & Clinical Supervision
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Counseling team across all program sites, ensuring high-quality, consistent therapeutic care.
- Design and implement trauma-informed therapeutic frameworks tailored to the needs of survivors in Cambodia.
- Ensure alignment of Counseling services with organizational values, ethical standards, and international best practices.
- Regularly review and update intervention protocols based on evolving trauma research and local context.
- Program Development & Monitoring
- Develop and oversee implementation of personalized intervention and group therapy plans.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to assess program effectiveness and improve outcomes for survivors.
- Ensure timely psychological assessments, documentation, and pre/post evaluations for all therapeutic sessions.
- Provide regular analytical and impact reports on Counseling programs to regional and global teams.
- Team Capacity Building
- Organize and lead regular trainings, workshops, and reflective practice sessions for the Counseling team.
- Build team capacity in trauma-focused modalities such as TFCBT, CBT, art therapy, and movement-based therapies.
- Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and emotional safety within the Counseling team.
- Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate closely with social workers, legal teams, and shelter staff to provide holistic care plans for each survivor.
- Represent the Counseling program in stakeholder meetings, case conferences, and cross-sector collaborations.
- Build partnerships with local mental health institutions, training bodies, and trauma care networks to strengthen community-based support systems.
- Crisis Support & Risk Assessment
- Oversee and guide the team during rescue operations and emergency support interventions.
- Lead risk assessments for complex cases and support Counselors in developing safety and recovery plans.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in trauma counseling, with at least 1 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Preferred Background: Strong grounding in trauma-informed care, preferably in post-conflict or humanitarian settings.
- Key Attributes:
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team.
- Deep empathy and resilience when working with survivors of extreme trauma.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with a passion for improving systems of care.
