This position is based in Country Office-Phnom Penh
S/he will be responsible for story, photo and video productions of all Plan International Cambodia’s campaign and programmes. S/he is responsible for producing high quality stories, photos and videos meeting donor requirements and amplifying Plan International Cambodia’s target beneficiary’s voice, especially the girls’, of projects under Plan International Cambodia’s Country Strategy Programmes priority and Plan International Cambodia, Regional, National Offices and Global campaigns. S/he ensure that all Plan International Cambodia’s print and digital contents are presented with sharp, creative and high quality photos and videos. S/he also support programme team to produce creative and high-quality needs story, success story and significant story of change as required. S/he also manages and ensures that the organization’s accomplishments, good practice and campaign messages are communicated effectively and efficiently to a wider audience through social media channels. S/he is responsible for ensuring that all such work is carried out in accordance with Plan International’s communication policies and guidelines.
- Technical Support
- Coordinate closely with other departments to arrange Programme and Campaign’s Creative Products development annual plan incorporated under Plan International Cambodia’s annual event calendar.
- Produce creative and high quality stories, photos and videos as planned and according to Plan’s and Donor’s requirements.
- Work closely with Communications team to ensure that Plan International Cambodia’s visual physical (print) and digital (web and social media) contents are presented with sharp, creative and high-quality photos, videos and stories.
- Support Programme team to produce creative and high-quality needs story, success story and significant story of change as required
- Work closely with field team, other departments and partners to ensure that all stories, photos and videos produced are Safeguarding Compliance.
- Manage audio-visual social media tools in full compliance with Plan International’s Global Visual Identity guidelines and produce weekly digital report for improvement and suggestion.
- Provide technical support on photography training, basic video production training, and story writing to children, youth, field staff and partners if required.
- Review and edit photos and videos summited by children, youth, field staff or partners before publishing on social media or place in printing material.
- Proofread and edit stories submitted by children, youth, field staff or partners before publishing on social media or place in printing material.
- Ensure that all stories, photos and videos produced by Plan International Cambodia are properly stored in Country Office as well as on Plan International’s Media Bank.
- Design IEC materials and cross check and translate all publication content and approved CMT minutes.
- Other
- Plan, implement, monitor and evaluate work with the aim of achieving gender equality and ensuring the implementation of Plan International’s commitments as outlined in the Policy on Gender Equality and Inclusion.
- Ensure that all Plan International Cambodia’s communications and campaigns employ gender sensitive and inclusive language and images, challenge gender stereotypes, and promote the value of women and girls.
- Ensure that all Plan International Cambodia publications contain appropriate messages about the organization’s Safeguarding Policy.
- Coordinate with others to develop and share Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct reporting procedures and ensure they are displayed in all Plan International Cambodia, and all staff are aware of them.
- Adhere to the Safeguarding Policy and report any Safeguarding incidents in line with local reporting mechanisms.

- Bachelor's Degree in communications, public relations or other related fields.
- Experience working in communications field including writing story and producing programme/campaign/project photos and videos for 3 to 5 years
- Experience in video productions: pre-production, production and post-production.
- Good Knowledge in storytelling via story writing, photo storytelling and video production.
- Good Safeguarding Standard and Practice knowledge in story, photo and video storytelling.
- Relevant international development and humanitarian program knowledge is desirable, including Gender and inclusion, Child rights, Child Protection and Human rights.
- Outstanding skills in photo and video camera operation (Cannon, Nikon or/and Sony).
- Outstanding skills in mobile phone photography and videography.
- Outstanding skills in Photo Editing application such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Outstanding skills in Video Editing application such as Adobe Premier, After Effect, or/and Final Cut Pro.
- Outstanding written and spoken communications and facilitation skills in English and Khmer.
- Photo Library Management
- Coordinating and influencing skills with staff at different levels of the organisation.
- Attention to detail to ensure high quality results.
- Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
