We are a leading organisation for the implementation of international development projects. We unleash the potential of private initiative to foster sustainable development and shared prosperity in developing and emerging economies.

Entrepreneur Investment Support (EIS) is an initiative within the Enhancing Entrepreneurial Ecosystem and Investment (3Ei), funded by SDC, KOICA and Khmer Enterprise and co-implemented by Khmer Enterprise and Swisscontact. EIS provides business support to small and medium enterprises (SMEs)that are trying to secure investments or have raised funds and need additional non-financial support for sustainable growth.

EIS provides investment readiness and post-investment TA for SGBs through a pool of vetted consultants. The investment readiness TA is designed to support SGBs as they work to become investment ready and assist investors in building pipelines. The post-investment TA provides business support to SGBs who receive investment funds. This business support is meant to help mitigate risks for investors and support more successful growth forces.

To support us in the project activities we are looking for a motivated consulting firm or individual consultant to support sale and marketing of Solo Landscapes.

Solo Landscapes is a sustainable digital booking platform that connects travelers with local heroes, small businesses, and community-based tourism experiences across Southeast Asia. The platform promotes eco-friendly and responsible travel by creating meaningful events, learning journeys, and fun adventures led by key freelancers and community partners. Through its listings, Solo Landscapes empowers people to discover authentic cultures, support local livelihoods, and co-create a more sustainable tourism future.

Summary

Employment start: Mid-January 2026

Responsibility:

Task 1: Business and Operation Strategic Assessment

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the business model, customer segments, competitive landscape, and market positioning.
  • Identify strategic gaps, growth opportunities, and priority areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for long-term alignment growth.
  • Review internal workflows related to operation, sales, marketing, product delivery, and partner coordination to identify inefficiencies.
  • Recommend practical improvements to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and consistent service quality.

Task 2: Sales & Market Expansion Strategy

  • Develop a clear, actionable sales strategy targeting international markets.
  • Refine value propositions specifically for B2B and B2C target customers.
  • Identify market-entry channels, distribution pathways, and potential partnerships, and recommend a structured approach to potential clients.

Task 3: Product & Experience Development

  • Evaluate existing tour products, digital offerings, and community-based experiences.
  • Recommend enhancements to improve product-market fit, customer experience, competitiveness, and sustainability.

Task 4: Brand & Communication Strategy

  • Refine brand messaging to better resonate with international audiences.
  • Provide strategic guidance on storytelling, content quality, communication channels, and brand visibility across key markets.

Task 5: Monitoring, Metric and Implementation Plan

  • Establish KPIs, success indicators, and measurement tools to track sales, marketing, and operational improvements.
  • Develop a practical, phased implementation roadmap for the next 12 months, outlining key actions, timelines, and responsibilities.
  • Strengthen team capabilities through coaching or targeted training in sales, marketing, business roadmap, product development, and partnership management to support successful implementation of the strategy.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in sales and marketing, brand development, or digital communication, business operation (preferably in the tourism industry).
  • Proven experience in digital advertising and marketing. Including creating, executing, and managing campaigns to achieve KPIs for clients.
  • Understanding of best practices in customer experience for the tourism and hospitality sector, with the ability to evaluate and enhance tour/digital products for sustainability and competitiveness.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong English communication; Khmer understanding preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills, and communication skills.
