Position Summary:
The research team coordinator will be responsible for providing the following specific services:
- Advise on the development of survey instruments, including questionnaires and protocols, to implement the surveys.
- Recruit and train researchers to undertake household survey.
- Test and assist in any necessary revision of survey instruments.
- Implement survey, digitize and clean data.
Deliverables:
- Review of survey protocols and instruments, plus translation ready for testing
- Field activity report
- Cleaned database
Eligibility
- At least five years’ experience in conducting social interview-based surveys. Experience of working in Mondulkiri Province preferred.
- Strong experience of independently managing a team of consultants and social research field logistics.
- Proven ability to arrange and coordinate field work and coordinate efficiently with local authorities where required.
- Proven ability to collect community based socio-economic data and accurately enter data into a database.
- Ability to produce clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Strong record of supporting publishing in high-impact scientific journals.
- Experience in training/capacity building.
