Consultant for Case Study on Applied Peacebuilding for Accountability in Extractive Industries and Natural Resource Management

Objectives of the assignment
The consultant will:
- Illustrate how peacebuilding tools are applied in rights-based accountability processes
- Examine how these tools contribute to improved accountability through conflict-sensitive and sustained engagement in extractive and NRM contexts
- Contribute to learning and validation of SABRE’s integrated BHR, and peacebuilding approach
- Generate practical insights to inform future programme design, adaptation, and learning within Cord and partner organisations
- Explore how CMFP supported under SABRE acquire the confidence and capacity to apply peacebuilding tools over time, and how this individual learning journey contributes to strengthened accountability outcomes during the SABRE implementation period
The consultant will deliver:
- Inception note (methodology, questions and case study outline/structure) upon signing the consultancy agreement
- Draft case study (15-20 pages )
- Final case study incorporating feedback
- Optional short learning brief (2–4 pages)
All deliverables will be submitted in English.
