Consultancy Objective (max 300 words):
The overall objective of this assignment is to assess the feasibility of investing in mango juice production by analysing market opportunities, evaluating suitable processing and packaging technologies, developing an industrial production layout, and preparing a financial model to support KFP's investment decision-making.
The assessment should include:
- Supply chain assessment and market study for demand for juice products in both local and export markets: Study the mango supply chain for juice, assess juice supply and demand in local and international markets and market opportunities, including key demand specifications and characteristics.
- Best practices to operate juice lines (i.e. technical analysis), including analysing net-zero waste packaging: Provide technology options for KFP on formula for juice with taking an account of also net-zero waste packaging technology for KFP to decide for an industrial line and R&D.
- Commercial viability of industrial expansion, but also including R&D aspects: Provide OPEX and CAPEX analysis, production costing, revenue and profitability projection, cash flow & break-even and sensitivity analysis (e.g. taking to account to combine other fruit and stand-alone mango juice production), and investment return indicators.
- Support the implement of R&D Facility Development: Procure, purchase, and install pilot juice-processing machinery for mango juice production, including operational training and support.

Eligibility
- A multidisciplinary team of consultants or a firm with proven expertise in market value chain analysis, fruit processing and beverage technology, food processing engineering, food packaging and sustainability, quality assurance and certification, and financial and investment analysis.
- Proven experience in tropical fruit processing, particularly mango products, and knowledge of Southeast Asian and international juice markets at commercial or industrial scale will be highly desirable.
- Proven experience in local and export market analysis and strategy for juice products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Khmer, as well as good interpersonal skills.
