Consultancy to Support the Design and Facilitation of Provincial Business Matching Events for Regenerative Agriculture

Target Location: Battambang, Preah Vihear, and Oddar Meanchey Provinces, Cambodia
Duration: July – August 2025 (Approximately 18 working days)
Objective of the Assignment
The objective of this consultancy is to provide technical and logistical support in the design, coordination, and facilitation of the three provincial business matching events. The consultant or consulting team will work closely with the ICAP project team to ensure events are well-organized, inclusive, and effective in generating partnerships and investment leads.
Scope of Work
The consultancy will work under the supervision of the ICAP project manager and in collaboration with local partners, the consultant/consulting team will carry out the following tasks (a -d)
Event Design and Preparation
- Refine the event design, structure, and agenda tailored to each province.
- Develop business matching facilitation tools (e.g., profiles, investment brief templates).
- Identify and confirm relevant participants, including private sector actors, cooperatives, and government officials.
- Prepare materials and background briefs for panel discussions, presentations, and exhibitions.
Coordination and Outreach
- Support outreach and engagement with private sector companies, investors, cooperatives, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with local authorities and logistical partners to ensure smooth event organization.
- Serve as liaison between participants and project team where needed.
Event Facilitation
- Lead facilitation of plenary and business matching sessions at each event.
- Provide guidance to participants on business pitching, networking, and deal-making.
- Capture key messages, outcomes, and observations throughout the events.
Documentation and Reporting
- Submit post-event reports summarizing activities, outcomes, challenges, and investment leads.
- Provide a consolidated final report with recommendations for scaling future engagement efforts.
Bidder Eligibility
- The consultant/team should meet the following criteria: Proven experience in
- designing and facilitating business forums, matching events, or investment promotion activities.
- Knowledge of Cambodia’s agricultural sector, especially regenerative or sustainable agriculture practices.
- Strong networks with agribusinesses, cooperatives, and private sector stakeholders in Cambodia.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills in both Khmer and English.
- Ability to work independently and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Prior experience with development partners or donor-funded projects is an asset.
