Objective
The objective of this consultancy is to design and deliver an intensive training on Digital Strategy for Public Engagement.
Scope of Services
The Consultant will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Conduct a training needs assessment (TNA) to tailor the training topics/contents to the participants’ knowledge level and digital/social media strategy contexts.
- Develop a training material on Digital Strategy for Public Engagement.
- Lead and facilitate 3-day interactive training sessions in person.
- Write and submit a training report with participant’s feedback, lessons learned, and recommendations.
Key Deliverables
The Consultant will provide the following:
- Conduct training needs assessment with participants and submitting the report/findings including the location of training should be conducted.
- Prepare training curriculum/plan and materials, including presentations, handouts, and case studies…etc.
- Lead and facilitate the 3-day training sessions.
- Prepare training resource package (digital copy) for participants.
- Produce the training report, including an evaluation of the training effectiveness and future recommendations.
Duration and Timeline
The assignment is expected to take place over the period of August and October 2025, starting from the 2nd week of August to the 2nd week of October 2025, please see details in ToR.
Location of Training
The training will take place in person from October 1-3, 2025. The specific location for the training will be determined after the consultant has been selected.
Bidder Eligibility
- Required Qualification and Experience
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training on Digital Strategy for Public Engagement or related topics.
- Strong understanding of digital technology, digital platforms, and digital/online strategy campaigns tools and techniques.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in applying or using digital tools for public engagement, communications, digital media, designing and delivering training.
- Experience working with NGOs, civil society organizations, and grassroots movements in Southeast Asia or the global south is desirable.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Consultant is able to deliver the training in English effectively.
