HEKS/EPER employs around 600 full-time staff members. Its work is guided by the vision of a just world where peace prevails, the dignity of all people is respected, and natural resources are preserved. HEKS/EPER is active in 25 locations in Switzerland and 30 countries worldwide, running more than 380 programmes and projects with a total volume of 138 million Swiss francs. Within the framework of Agenda 2030, the organisation focuses on four priority themes: "Climate Justice," "Right to Land and Food," "Asylum and Migration," and "Inclusion." HEKS/EPER also provides humanitarian aid to victims of natural disasters and armed conflicts, aiming to bring about change at the social, economic, and political levels. HEKS contributes to improving the living conditions of people both domestically and internationally, advocating for their rights. It raises awareness and mobilizes society, politics, business, and churches. In 2023, around 16 million people benefited from the work of HEKS/EPER.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced “Consultancy” to support organizing "Regenerative Agriculture Forum – October 9th, 2025 - Phnom Penh" to the Innovation for Climate Acceleration Project (ICAP), supported by UNDP-AFCIA and implemented by HEKS/EPER Cambodia, aims to accelerate regenerative agriculture adoption in Cambodia by engaging private sector actors, promoting investment, and strengthening market systems. Building on the success of provincial-level business forums, a Regional Forum will be held in Phnom Penh to convene regional stakeholders, showcase business cases, and catalyze partnerships in the regenerative agriculture sector.

Objective of the Assignment

To support the design, coordination, and facilitation of the Regional Business Matching Forum that promotes investment, networking, and actionable partnerships for regenerative agriculture in Cambodia.

Scope of Work

Under the guidance of the ICAP project team, the consultant will deliver the following:

a) Design & Planning

  • Co-develop the overall event concept and structure with HEKS/EPER
  • Draft forum agenda and session formats (e.g., panel, pitch, business matching)
  • Propose facilitation methodologies and speaker engagement approaches
  • Develop visual branding or communication cues for the event

b) Speaker & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Support identification and pre-briefing of key panelists and speakers
  • Provide pitch preparation or coaching to selected local entrepreneurs/cooperatives
  • Collaborate with the ICAP team to confirm regional private sector guests

c) Event Facilitation

  • Lead facilitation of the full-day event including opening, plenaries, and breakout tracks (MC)
  • Moderate panel discussions and coordinate business matching sessions
  • Ensure high-quality engagement and inclusive participation across sectors
  • Liaison with media partners.

d) Documentation & Reporting

  • Capture key outcomes, leads, and participant feedback.
  • Deliver a post-event summary report including success stories, quotes, and recommendations for scaling.

Bidder Eligibility

  • Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience in multi-stakeholder event design, facilitation, or innovation forums
  • Strong background in business incubation, entrepreneurship, or sustainable agriculture
  • Excellent communication and moderation skills (Khmer and English)
  • Familiarity with Cambodia’s agribusiness and impact investment ecosystem

Submission Requirements

Level of Effort & Payment

The consultancy is expected to require up to 15 working days from August to October 2025. A detailed financial proposal should be submitted at a daily rate (including tax). Payment will be based on deliverables and milestones agreed upon in the contract.
