Consultancy Development of BORDA Southeast Asia Portfolio

Purpose
The purpose of this assignment is to create a high-quality, visually engaging, and content-rich portfolio that:
- Chronicles BORDA SEA’s evolution over nearly four decades.
- Showcases its thematic areas, achievements, innovations, and partnerships.
- Presents quantitative and qualitative impact at local, national, and regional levels.
- Features testimonials from distinguished and influential stakeholders (e.g., Ministers, Governors, senior government officials, and key donor representatives) to highlight BORDA SEA’s credibility, partnerships, and recognition.
- Positions BORDA SEA as a leader in sustainable sanitation and water management in the region.
Objectives
The consultant/firm will:
- Compile and synthesise information covering BORDA SEA’s notable works in the region.
- Develop compelling narratives and visuals for key sections, including but not limited to:
- Introduction to BORDA SEA (history, mission, values, regional presence).
- Timeline of major milestones and project phases.
- Water and sanitation challenges in Southeast Asia.
- BORDA SEA’s thematic areas and technical instruments.
- Regional strategy and key pillars.
- Project examples and success stories.
- Partnerships and donor engagement.
- Quantitative impact (e.g., DEWATS installed, wastewater treated, beneficiaries reached).
- Testimonials from prominent and credible stakeholders, showcasing their perspectives and endorsements of BORDA SEA’s work and impact.
- Design the portfolio as both a 10–12 page booklet and an accompanying PowerPoint version.
- Deliver final products in properly formatted print-ready PDF and editable formats for future updates, in English, Khmer and Lao. BORDA will support the translation for final portfolio documents.
Timeline
- The service duration will be forty-five (45) days.
- Period of assignment: September 8 - November 7, 2025.
Budget
The total budget for this consultancy is up to USD 5,000, inclusive of all taxes, fees, and expenses.

Bidder Eligibility
- Officially registered as a consultant, firm, or legal entity — or able to provide equivalent documentation demonstrating legal status and eligibility to work independently as a consultant
- Proven track record in portfolio/publication development for international NGOs.
- Excellent research, writing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong design capabilities with a portfolio of high-quality publications.
- Demonstrated ability to work with historical, thematic, and impact data.
- Experience in developing high-profile materials that incorporate endorsements from senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with sustainable development and WASH sector in Southeast Asia preferred.
