Habitat for Humanity International in Cambodia (Habitat Cambodia) is part of Habitat for Humanity International and began operations in 2003. We work with diverse international and local non-governmental organizations, microfinance institutions, corporate partners, and local and national authorities to build a better life through safe and affordable homes.

Habitat Cambodia provides technical expertise, including safe and affordable house designs, water and sanitation programs, an innovative approach to housing combining market development, housing finance, and housing support services; advocacy for secure land tenure; and pro-poor housing solutions. Habitat Cambodia takes a holistic approach with partners to help informal settlers gain access to secure terms under the local government's social land concession scheme. Technical expertise is provided to micro-finance institutions and low-income families by constructing good-quality and affordable homes.

Since 2003, Habitat Cambodia has served more than 177,300 families to improve their living conditions through housing interventions, WASH facilities, community development programs, and partnerships with microfinance institutions in Phnom Penh, Kandal, Siem Reap, Battambang, Banteay Meanchey, and Preah Vihear. Habitat Cambodia is now looking for dynamic and highly qualified candidates to fulfill the following positions:

Construction Intern (1 Position)

Position Summary

The Construction Internship will report to the Construction Supervisor. s/he is responsible for assisting and supporting the Construction Supervisor and the project team to coordinate, facilitate, and monitor house construction processes that are carried out technically and efficiently through visiting the building sites daily and working closely with skilled laborers, home‐partners, mobilizers, and local and international volunteers.

 
 

Communications Intern (1 Position)

Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for assisting the resource development and communications team to produce communication materials, including graphic designs, photos, and videos that showcase the impacts of Habitat for Humanity Cambodia’s programs and promote branding visibility. The position is expected to fill in for 7 months, from December 2025 to June 2026.
