Announcement Description

Youth Star Cambodia (YSC) is a dynamic Cambodian NGO whose aim is to give young people an opportunity to develop their civic leadership skills by working as volunteers in under-served rural areas of Cambodia. Youth Star Cambodia's aim is to empower Cambodian youth as volunteers to improve the quality of life in vulnerable communities through education and civic participation.

YSC is seeking a motivated Community Fundraiser to establish and test a structured program of community-led and peer-to-peer fundraising. Working with YSC staff, Board members, alumni and supporters, the Community Fundraiser will identify potential fundraising champions, follow up existing contacts and help individuals develop and promote credible digital campaigns. The role will maintain the prospective fundraiser pipeline, support campaign development, track progress and create practical systems and materials that YSC can use beyond the placement. It will complement YSC's wider fundraising work but will not be responsible for the organization's overall fundraising strategy, institutional grant applications or major-donor program.

Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours. The minimum commitment is 20 hours per week. Hours may be scheduled flexibly, but the Community Fundraiser must be available for agreed meetings and provide dependable responses within agreed working periods.
