Wathnakpheap (WP)  a local Cambodian NGO which  localised  International NGO, SKIP (Pestalozzi Children Village’s Foundation)  was registered  the Government since 1997. Wathnakpheap has  15  extensive experience  with  variety  partners, including local NGOs, international NGOs,  private companies,  for  wide range  donors, including government agencies, multilateral organisations  corporate foundations. Wathnakpheap has been implementing  for 4  areas such  1) Community Led Child Nutrition; 2) Education  all; 3) Good Governance  Civic Engagement; 4) Resilient Livelihood.

Wathnakpheap received fund  EU through Wold Vision International  implementing “Social Accountabilities  Better Public Service Delivery Project”

Announcement Positions

Community Facilitator (9 Positions)

Rural development, Community Development, Social Work
  • Location: Kampong Cham, Pursat
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Salary: 350 - 380   With other benefits

Duties

  • Ensure timely implementation  project  according  work plans developed  project management.
  • Mobilize  coordinate local stakeholder  for  I-SAF
  • Select, train, mentor  build  capacity  CAFs
  • Coordinate  implementation  I-SAF components  district  communes level
  • Conduct outreach  local  identify village clusters, map  significant CBOs, identify CBO partners,  identify  select CAFs
  • Provide  to CAF  collaborate  local authority  service provider such  commune, health center  school.
  • Develop plan  deliver trainings four 4-day training modules  CAFs  selected local officials
  • To ensure I4C dissemination points  ensure local compliance  public dissemination regulations.
  • Inform local stakeholders about  I-SAF citizen monitoring process  mobilize  support
  • Coordinate inception meeting  key stakeholders  each target commune
  • Prepare  organize teams  facilitators  each target commune
  • Coach CAF organization  service user  provider scorecard meetings  each target commune
  • Manage  data  from scorecard meeting
  • Coordinate  organization  an interface meeting  each target commune  agree  multi-sector joint Accountability Action Plan (JAAP)
  • Support  dissemination, implementation  monitoring  JAAP finding  ensure that JAAPs  presented  the district integration Workshop
  • Support  necessary,  ongoing  of JAAP committees  each target commune
  • Document  report finding  lesson learnt  the field
  • Contribute  I-SAF learning  monitoring
  • Ensure timely implementation  project  according  work plans developed  project management
  • Provide training  coaching  CAF each steps  I- SAF
  • Build capacity  work  the CAF  CBOs  monitor  delivery

Requirements

  • Minimum two  of experience  in community development  NGOs.
  • An understanding  social accountability framework
  • Leadership qualities, communication  team  (including mediation  conflict
  • resolution).
  • Fluency  local languages  English  preferred
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Internet  Email).
  • Be patient  have good  commitment
  • Able  drive  motorbike  difficult roads
  • Experience  I-SAF  preferred.
 

Project Accountant (1 Position)

Accounting, Assistant, Banking / Finance
  • Location: Kampong Cham
  • Schedule: Full-time

Duties

  • S/he proper financial management through  regular updating  the books  accounts  maintaining daily transactions  the provincial office.
  • S/he check  translate invoice  support document.
  • S/he presents  financial disbursement  Local Coordinator
  • S/he  check budget request  work plan  be parallel  process it  time.
  • S/he makes financial monthly  quarterly reports  the Local Coordinator.
  • S/he assists  the preparation  budget projection  requests.
  • S/he supports administration  relate  project  Province.
  • S/he advises Local Coordinator  budget line  be used  each activity.
  • S/he ensures that  equipment  machinery  properly maintained  regularly serviced.
  • S/he periodic monthly field visit  monitor financial expenditure  report Local Coordinator.
  • S/he prepares monthly budget control  budget  office.
  • S/he Assist  the preparation  budget requests.

Requirements

  • Graduate  bachelor’s degree  finance  accounting  2  relevant field  with NGOs.
  • Leadership qualities, personnel, team management  communication  (including mediation  conflict resolution).
  • Interpersonal skill, honesty,  be able  under pressure  patient  work performance.
  • Good knowledge  spoken  written Khmer  English, Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Internet  Email) and.
  • Know  Peachtree Accounting System
  • Fluency  local languages  English  preferred.
