Position Summary
Wildlife Alliance is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual from Samkos REDD+ Project (Battambang or Pursat Province) to join our team as a Community Engagement Team Member. Successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting and upholding the rights of local communities and indigenous peoples within the context of our REDD+ project.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Membership in a local community or indigenous group, with a deep understanding of local cultures, customs, and traditions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated commitment to the principles of FPIC, human rights, and indigenous rights.
Fluency in Khmer.
Proficiency in Por or other Indigenous language or English is preferred but not mandatory.
Cambodian middle school diploma or higher.
Previous experience in community engagement, facilitation, or a related field is an asset.
