Community Engagement Coordinator / Facilitator (2 Positions)

Two positions are available: OFO's Community Engagement Coordinator is expected to lead the Community Engagement (CE) activities for a new project. The CE Facilitator will be part of this team. These jobs include developing the CE approach (together with the project team leader and project partners, using available materials and tools), documenting these tools in a Community Consultation Guide in English and Khmer, in addition to field testing and refining the tools. They will be required to lead the CE team, which includes a CE officer and two field assistants. A large part of the position will be to directly implement the community engagement activities within the targeted villages. Other duties include managing field monitoring data and record keeping, activity reporting and liaising with community leaders and government officials as relevant. In general it is necessary that they have the ability, flexibility and attitude to take initiative and engage in other project roles that might be arise during the project in which they are able to assist.

Duties
  • Develop detailed Community Consultation Guide in English and Khmer jointly with project team including field testing and refining
  • Lead the Community Engagement team consisting of a field officer and two field assistants
  • Organize Community Engagement activity roll-out and scheduling in all the targeted villages during the project implementation
  • Directly facilitate Community Engagement activities in communities
  • Liaise with government, local authorities as needed for project implementation
  • Manage field monitoring data and record keeping for the Community Engagement activities
  • Produce activity reports as needed for government, donor and internal purposes
  • Other roles as might arise during project implementation
Requirements
  • Natural resources and biodiversity management
  • Love of nature, community, enjoys outoor / field-based work in remote areas
  • Community networking experience including engaging with communities, motivating, mentoring and developing positive relationships with community members
  • Relationships with government and familiarity with procedures and processes for working with government as an NGO
  • Data management and processing skills
  • Computer skills (word, excel, email, social media, data management) in English and Khmer
  • Organizational Skills
  • English and Khmer speaking, reading and writing

Finance and Administration Officer (1 Position)

  • Salary: $250 - $600

The Finance and Administration Officer is responsible for working with the Administration Advisor to ensure all finance and administration needs for the organization are met. This involves accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities such as posting of financial transactions into the accounting system, petty cash management, preparing banking transactions, and assisting with taxation reporting needs. Additional administration support involves data management of project activities and monitoring and assistance with any other administrative tasks, government and organizational reporting. The Finance and Administration Officer is expected to be flexible and helpful and adjust to whatever role might be required in order to meet the objectives of the organization


Duties
  • Posting of accounting transactions into the online accounting system (Quickbooks online).
  • Posting of e-filing reports with the General Department of Taxation
  • Posting of NSSF reports to NSSF
  • Petty cash management
  • Financial reports preparation for donors, GDT, and internal management purposes
  • Admin support to ensure OFO is meeting government regulations and requirements, assistance with government correspondence and reporting as needed
  • Record keeping for project activities
  • Asset and Inventory management
  • Any other supportive needs for project activities and administration needs for OFO
Requirements
  • Finance and admin experience
  • Computer proficiency (word, excel, email, social media, and quickbooks) in English and Khmer
  • Personal initiative, time management and organization
  • English reading and writing
  • Khmer Reading and Writing
  • Can live remotely (2 hours from the Preah Vihear City)
