Community Based Eco-Tourism (CBET) Credit Fund Facilitator

Position Summary

This position based at Chhay Areng

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the CBET Project Manager as well as service providers on planning and reporting
  • Building and maintaining good relationship with community participants and leaders (Local authority, CBET Committee)
  • Conducting regular home visits to monitor and coach Savings group leaders in filling out their Savings Books.
  • Developing change in the behavior and living conditions of vulnerable people in the community
  • Facilitating formation and capacity building of new and existing Community Saving Credit fund Group
  • Working together with the CA-CBET staff and service group leaders to develop annual, quarterly and monthly work plans in support of the CBET Product Development
  • Collecting information needed for future planning and reporting
  • Promoting conservation values throughout the CBET process and activities
  • Assisting in participatory CBET planning, implementing and monitoring of Community-Based Eco-Tourism project through APPA
  • Performing other related tasks requested by the CBET Project Manager from time to time.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Good oral and written communication skills (English and Khmer)
  • Good organizational and facilitation skills
  • Team building and motivational skills
  • Flexible, open minded and creative
  • At least 1-year experience in working with the poor community
  • Experience in community savings and loan program
  • Knowledge of computer programs like word & excel
  • Can work under pressure and difficult environment
  • Be able to work based in Areng, Koh Kong Province
