JOB PURPOSE:
Future Forum is seeking one part-time Communications Intern to be part of the Community Program team for a minimum duration of 6 months based in Phnom Penh. The Intern will work closely with Program Coordinator to provide effective communications support in developing and executing communication strategies for Future Forum’s website, social media, campaign and outreach activities to enhance the organization’s visibility and engage our audience.
Salary: Monthly stipend of USD $150; with subject of travel and accommodation cost will be provided if needed and associated with program assignment purposes during the internship course.
- Assist in publishing engaging content creation for website, social media platforms, and newsletters.
- Regularly check the resources and update Future Forum’s website to ensure accessibility and engagement.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring posts.
- Assist in developing and executing communication strategies.
- Assist in taking photos in related training activities and events.
- Create visually appealing materials such as posters, flyers, banners, envelopes, book layouts and others.
- Support tracking and analyzing media coverage and trends relevant to the organization.
- Support other communication-related tasks as needed and subjected to workload.
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Be a current undergraduate student or fresh graduate in media and communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
- Knowledge of website, social media platforms, and analytic tools is a plus.
- Previous related experience or familiarity with graphic design, photography, website or social media management is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- Demonstrate a high commitment, proactive attitude, and willingness to learn new things and work in a multicultural team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and familiarity with design tools like Canvas or similar platforms.

- Hands-on experience with content creation, media outreach and campaigns for a think tank’s initiatives.
- Build proficiency in tools such as website and social media analytics, content management system and design software (e.g. Canvas).

Hub Intern

JOB PURPOSE:
Future Forum is seeking one part-time HUB Intern to be part of the Community Program for a minimum duration of 6 months based in Phnom Penh. The Intern will work closely with the Program Manager to provide effective assistance in organizing, managing, and maintaining co-working/learning space, library resources, and research database to support the growth of the community of researchers.
Salary: Monthly stipend of USD $150; with subject of travel and accommodation costs will be provided if needed and associated with program assignment purposes during the internship course.
- Assist in managing the community of researchers' membership and daily research hub operation (space bookings and usage of shared resources).
- Regularly collect, input, and update information related to community member profiles in the designated repository.
- Assist in archiving datasets, articles, and reports, ensuring proper metadata tagging.
- Provide assistance to users/patrons in navigating both physical and digital resources and respond to user inquiries.
- Support in managing book inventory and coordinating book acquisition and book distributions (e.g. book flash sales, distribution to bookstores).
- Assist in developing and enforcing member rules and guidelines for co-working/learning space, library, and database.
- Assist in handling administrative tasks such as library inventory checks and documentation, and report preparation.
- Support other program-related tasks as needed and subject to workload.
- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Be a current undergraduate student or a fresh graduate in library science, information management, computer science, or other social science related fields.
- Have a strong interest in the development of a research hub, library, and database.
- Previous related experience or familiarity with data entry or library, and data management tools is an advantage.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrate a high commitment and willingness to learn new things and work in a multicultural team.
- Good command of English and Computer literate (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.).
