The Communication Intern will assist in implementing HEKS/EPER Cambodia's communication strategy and plan. The intern will contribute to social media management, photography, videography, graphic design, and event support, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and creative individual to gain hands-on experience in communication, storytelling, and outreach while contributing to projects that enhance rural livelihoods and promote climate-resilient and sustainable agriculture across Cambodia.
The Communication Intern will perform the following tasks under the guidance and supervision of the Communication Coordinator:
- Assist in managing and maintaining HEKS/EPER Cambodia's social media
- Assist in producing multimedia contents to support communication campaigns
- Assist in designing communication, and branding materials
- Assist in capturing high-quality photos and videos of events, workshops, etc.
- Maintain an organised library of media assets, including photos, videos, and design files.
- Provide on-site support for outreach activities and events
- Perform other relevant tasks as assign by the supervisor
- Gain hands-on experience and build a professional work portfolio in media and communication
- Gain exposure to the international development sector and build a professional network.
- Receive a certificate of completion acknowledging the internship.
- Khmer - Good
- English - Good
- Undergraduate Degree in Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, or a related field
- Good writing and editing skills in both Khmer and English
- Basic photography and video editing skills, with some experience using professional cameras, Adobe Lightroom, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Basic graphic design skills, with some knowledge in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva.
- Experience managing professional social media platforms.
- Prior internship or volunteer experience in communication, or NGOs is an advantage.
- Open-minded, creative, and eager to learn.
