Position Summary

Location: National Office, Cambodia, Phnom Penh

Contract Duration: 3 months with possible extension

THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Overall purpose for hiring this intern:

The purpose of this memorandum is to request approval to recruit a Short-Term Communication & Digital Intern for 3 months with possible extension to 6 months to support the Communication Led for the ISAF Extension Phase. This position is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of the Communication and Visibility target under the Annual Work Plan & Budget (AWPB) for the last phase of the ISAF project.

What development opportunities will you provide for this intern?

The intern will gain hands-on experience in communication and digital engagement within a humanitarian project, developing skills in multimedia production, social media management, digital capacity building, and NGO communication workflows while strengthening professional skills such as teamwork, time management, and ethical communication aligned with World Vision standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Multimedia and Content Production
  • Assist in producing and editing multimedia materials such as project videos, SA podcasts, photo stories, and documentation videos.
  • Support the development of impact stories, captions, visual materials, and basic design work for visibility and branding purposes.
  • Assist in organizing and archiving communication assets and digital files.
  • Digital and Social Media Engagement
  • Support the management of ISAF-related social media channels (Facebook, YouTube, Google platforms).
  • Prepare content drafts, artwork, and posting schedules in line with the communication plan.
  • Assist in monitoring engagement metrics and compiling basic performance data.
  • E‑Learning and Capacity Building Support
  • Assist the Communication Lead in implementing the Digital Capacity Building Program and e-learning activities.
  • Support follow‑up with CAF Network Leaders and members, including monitoring action plans and participation.
  • Help ensure digital learning materials are updated and accessible.
  • Project Communication Support
  • Provide logistical and documentation support for ISAF events, visits, media activities, and project milestones.
  • Conduct basic research on digital communication trends, tools, or content ideas relevant to the ISAF project.
  • Assist with routine communication tasks and other duties as assigned to support timely and quality delivery of communication outputs.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Medium
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Undergraduate Degree in Communication, Digital Marketing major is preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Intermediate level English knowledge in writing. 
  • Ability to use production software (Adobe Premier, Ai, Photoshop, Capcut, Canva).
  • Knowledge of using Google Workspace, AI tool, Facebook meta business and MS office.
Soft Skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks under a specific turn-around time 
  • High level of dedication to social accountability and humanitarian context.
