Duties
  • Responsible for the constant supervision, safety and well-being of the students;
  • Recognizes and responds to the needs of each student by using developmentally; appropriate teaching and student behaviour management techniques;
  • Assist in planning and developing school programs in accordance with CIAC curriculum;
  • Understand and follow all school’s policies, protocols, and management’s directions;
  • Establish and maintain positive daily communication and interaction with co-workers, and building a positive working relationship;
  • Ensures the program operates always in compliance with all CIAC curriculum and standards;
  • Observes and records relevant information on each student's progress as required/as per school practices;
  • Attends and participates actively in all programs/ school, parental or other meetings as required;
  • Shares responsibility for maintaining program equipment in good repair; assists with toy/equipment disinfecting;
  • Shares responsibility for maintaining the play environments and storage areas in an organized and clutter-free condition;
  • Participates in regular fire drills and other emergency procedures;
  • Engages in positive collaboration with the other programs and teachers of the school in coordinating the effective use of equipment, facilities and personnel;
  • Participates in ongoing professional development and attends/maintains all mandatory training;
  • Participates in the supervision, training and mentoring of new teachers;
  • Assists the school directors in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by promptly reporting any existing and/or potential workplace hazards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Mandarin Chinese Teaching;
  • At least one-year experience in teaching Chinese;
  • Good command of Chinese Language both speaking and writing;
  • Good command of Computer skill (Ms. Word & Excel, Internet & E-mail);
  • Be responsible and friendly manner in communication;
  • Be punctual and team work spirit;
  • Pleasant personality and self-motivation;
