Children's Service Officer
Working day: - Full time Friday-Saturday 6:30-11:00 ,1:00-4:30
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of clients, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Support to House Parents: Provide support to house parents in residential group homes.
- Re-integration Plans: Develop re-integration plans for children in residential care when possible.
- Family Assessment and Support: Assess and support families with at-risk children.
- Coordination of Services: Coordinate external specialized services for children and families.
- Stakeholder Relations: Develop and maintain working relationships with government agencies and other stakeholders.
- Professional Practice: Adhere to project policies and codes of conduct, including ethical social work practice, child protection, and confidentiality.
- Team Participation: Actively participate in team meetings and individual/group support meetings.
- Project Development: Contribute to project planning and the development of social work tools and resources.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation processes to ensure the effectiveness of services provided, including regular reporting and feedback mechanisms.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations involving children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including budgeting, to ensure the sustainability of programs and services.
- Outreach and Networking: Conduct outreach activities to identify and engage with new clients and partners, expanding the reach and impact of the organization.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and documentation as required for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Capacity Building: Support the professional development of team members through mentorship, supervision, and training opportunities.
- Bachelor Degree
