The Center for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (Caritas-CCAMH), a public-private partnership between the Ministry of Health, Royal Government of Cambodia and Caritas Cambodia an INGO, aspires to build the capacity of professionals working among children with special needs. Caritas-CCAMH seeks qualified, suitable candidates to work with children and families at Chumneas Referral Hospital, Takhmau, Kandal province and outreach services at Battambang, Kompong Cham, Kompong Chhnang and Tbong Khmum provinces.

Position Summary

Description: Child and adolescent mental health physician is a professional working among children with neuro-psychiatric (e.g. epilepsy, tics), developmental (e.g. autism, intellectual disability) and psychological (e.g. psychosis, anxiety) problems.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Good
  • English - Good
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in pediatrics/ psychiatry/ child psychiatry/ public health
Work History:
  • Work-experience in the relevant field, particularly with children with special needs for 2 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
Soft Skills
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken) in Khmer and English
  • Commitment to work for a period of three years and motivated to learn on the job
