Purpose
CYEA is responsible for supporting the effective engagement, coordination, and participation of Child and Youth-Led Networks to strengthen their functionality and implementation of strategic plans. The position provides support in areas including network coordination, capacity development, child and youth leadership, advocacy engagement, documentation, and monitoring of child rights issues.

Dimensions
- Child & youth network strengthening and coordination: Support the coordination and strengthening of existing CYLNs to ensure effective participation, collaboration, and implementation of their plans.
- Capacity development support: Assist in organizing and facilitating capacity development activities for child and youth leaders and support their participation in decision-making and advocacy processes.
- Child and youth engagement and advocacy support: Support CYLNs to engage in advocacy initiatives, develop advocacy actions, and connect with relevant stakeholders, including government, policymakers, UN agencies, and CSOs.
- Support the coordination/implementation of activities of CYLNs to strengthen their functionality, participation, and implementation of planned activities.
- Support the organization and coordination of CYLNs meetings, consultations, and engagement activities, including preparation of agendas, participant coordination, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Provide follow-up, mentoring, and coaching support to child and youth leaders to strengthen their leadership, confidence, and participation.
- Assist in identifying capacity development needs and support the organization and delivery of trainings, workshops, mentoring sessions, and learning activities for child.
- Support child and youth leaders to develop, implement, and monitor their action plans, advocacy initiatives, and community-based activities.
- Assist CYLNs in developing and implementing child rights advocacy activities, awareness campaigns, and youth-led initiatives, including preparation of advocacy messages and communication materials.
- Support meaningful child and youth participation in consultations, dialogues, forums, campaigns, and engagement with government institutions, CSOs, schools, communities, and other stakeholders.
- Support monitoring, documentation, and reporting of CYLNs activities, participation outcomes, achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Promote safe, inclusive, and meaningful participation of children and youth by ensuring activities follow CRC-Cambodia’s Child and young Safeguarding Policy, Code of Conduct, gender equality, and inclusion principles.
- Support coordination with CRC-Cambodia members, partners, and relevant stakeholders, and perform other programme-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

- Bachelor's Degree in Community Development, Social work, Education, or related fields
- NGOs, development organizations, communication preferably in child rights and youth empowerment, advocacy, community engagement, or programme support. for 1 to 2 years as a minimum
- Basic knowledge of child rights, child participation, youth empowerment, advocacy, and community development.
- Understanding of NGO programme implementation and child protection principles is an advantage.
- Experience in supporting training, workshops, consultations, documentation, coordination, and youth activities.
- Good skills in coordination, facilitation, communication, and relationship building.
- Basic knowledge of project implementation, documentation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Ability to work with children, youth, and different stakeholders.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, internet, email, and online communication platforms.
- English and Khmer are proficiency in both writing and speaking
