- Leadership:
- Develop and execute the company’s long-term strategic plan and investment thesis.
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, and ensure the achievement of revenue, profitability, and return on investment (ROI) targets.
- Provide ultimate oversight and strategic direction for the entire investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company's risk-return objectives.
- Investment Portfolio Strategy & Oversight:
- Facilitate with Board to make final decisions on all capital allocation, investment approvals, divestments, and exits.
- Monitor the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies, implementing strategies to enhance value, manage risk, and ensure strong returns.
- Ensure robust portfolio management practices are in place, including regular reporting, valuation, and performance analysis.
- Capital Raising & Investor Relations (Liaison Role):
- Act as the primary liaison and company representative to all key stakeholders. This includes the Board of Directors, investors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
- Drive the firm's capital raising efforts by developing and maintaining intense relationships with potential and existing investors.
- Serve as the primary point of communication for the Board of Directors, providing transparent and regular reporting on company performance, strategy, and risk.
- Represent the company at major industry events, conferences, and in media engagements to enhance the firm's profile and attract new capital and deal flow.
