JOB SUMMARY
The Case Manager plays a key role in ensuring that children in Family-Like Care receive quality, safe, and child-centred support, aligned with SOS Cambodia’s strategic commitment to transitioning to strengthened alternative care and improving program quality. The role focuses on individualized development planning, safeguarding, coordinated service delivery, and smooth preparation for transition and reintegration. This post directly contributes to strategic priorities, including improved care quality, youth transition, and strengthened monitoring and accountability systems.
Child Safeguarding Responsibilities
- Adhere to SOS Child & Youth Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct.
- Report any suspected safeguarding risks immediately.
- Ensure all HR/payroll processes uphold safeguarding standards, especially regarding safe recruitment.

- Conduct assessments and maintain updated individual development plans.
- Track child progress across health, education, and psychosocial wellbeing.
- Maintain complete records and ensure accurate CMIS entries.
- Safeguarding and Child Protection
- Identify and manage risks affecting children.
- Report cases through safeguarding channels.
- Participate in incident management reviews when assigned.
- Support for Children and Youth
- Provide first-line psychosocial support and identify care needs.
- Coordinate tutoring, mentoring, counselling, or specialized help.
- Facilitate life-skills, confidence-building, and youth advisory involvement.
- Support for Mothers and Caregivers
- Coach caregivers on positive parenting, emotional support, discipline, and learning routines.
- Support peer-learning and strengthen shared childcare practices.
- Collaborate with Youth Caregivers for adolescent needs.
- Reintegration, Transition, and Aftercare
- Prepare transition plans for all adolescents from age 14 onward.
- Build and manage relationships with families, communities, and MoSVY.
- Track care-leavers as per aftercare guidance and provide follow-up support.
- Collaboration and Referral Coordination
- Work with schools, training centers, health staff, and local authorities.
- Lead referrals to specialized external services (medical, livelihood, counselling)
- Maintain good partnership conduct with the Commune Council and DoSVY.
- Monitoring, Reporting & Learning
- Submit monthly caseload summaries and progress reports.
- Participate in monitoring visits, audits, and learning meetings.
- Contribute case examples and success stories for donor and federation use.
- Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, education, sociology, or related field
- At least supporting children or youth directly for 2 years
- Knowledge of Cambodian care systems, CCWC, and DoSVY is an advantage
- Experience with case management and child protection required.
- Child-centered approach and respect for the child's voice.
- Understanding of trauma and alternative care standards.

Youth Leader Boy

JOB SUMMARY
Youth leader is a member of a project team. The overall responsibility of youth development leader is familiar with knowledgeable of activities of youth, planning, mentoring and conducting of assigned project activities, and supervision on youth development.
- Work directly with youth group of school-age, to provide a safe, responsible, well-supervised program while acting as a positive adult role model and mentor;
- Ensure arrangement of youth house are functioning, cleanliness, education, social activities, security and orders;
- Train youth in a variety of skills and techniques including behaviour management techniques, program development, provide direction and delivery, child development and group management.
- Implement and participate with youth group including homework and tutoring assistance, daily living activities, social engagement, and recreation activities.
- Ensure up to date of youth development plan to PDB2 system.
- Actively participate in staff development workshops and other staff meetings that are designed to contribute to personal and professional growth and program success.
- Help provide an atmosphere for developing good morale and well-being among the youth group;
- Provide discipline, supervise and monitoring youth group in all aspects of the project, provide direction and feedback to youth in a constructive manner;
- Well document interaction and behaviours of youth through loggings, and incident reports, provide appropriate supervision of youth during all activities, monitor on routine housekeeping as need on shift, assist in management of cost effective of the project;

JOB SUMMARY
Youth leader Boy & Youth Leader Girl is responsible for accompanying young people to grow up in a secure way through the guiding on their individual development plan toward an independent life. He/she works as a coach in guiding young people, accompanies them through their career life, and contribute to the quality of youth care. Together with young people, youth leader creates a great and safe environment where young people can grow, develop life skills, employability skills, and vocational skills in order to reach self-reliance and be able to be responsible for themselves in society. He/she works within the framework of SOS Children’s Villages organization standards and guidelines and the child rights-based approach.
