Announcement Description

IMPACT strengthens civil society and community resilience in Cambodia through a coordinated, multi- thematic program that brings together 12 Cambodian partner organizations under one shared framework. The program addresses interconnected challenges of poverty, exclusion, and vulnerability through four complementary thematic approaches.

Green Economic Resilience supports youth, farmers, and informal workers with livelihood skills, entrepreneurship, and climate-smart practices for dignified, sustainable incomes. Safer & Secure Communities enhances survivor-centred protection systems, promotes community-led prevention, and strengthens government partnerships to safeguard children and vulnerable groups. Youth Resilience builds confidence, employability, and leadership so that young women and men can actively participate in civic life and decision-making. All three are underpinned by Civil Society Strengthening, which builds the governance, safeguarding, and advocacy capacity of community organizations and national partners to drive inclusive, locally led development.

A Thematic Working Group on Youth Resilience (TWG-YR) will serve as a collaborative platform to bring together MA implementing partners, NGOs, practitioners, and key stakeholders for the IMPACT Program. This group will coordinate and strengthen efforts, ensuring that interventions are effective, relevant, and evidence-based, and improving the quality of implementation. By fostering collaboration, the TWG-YR will amplify collective impact and promote sustainable solutions for youth empowerment.

Youth Resilience aims to: 1. Promote youth leadership, active participation, and meaningful contribution within their communities. 2. Equip young people with the skills and confidence to make informed career and personal development decisions.
