Campus Director

Position Summary

Anticipated Start Date: June 9th, 2025, or as soon as mutually agreed upon.

Status: Full-time/Salary

Reports to: National Director

Duty Location: Poipet, Cambodia

Job Summary: The Campus Director will serve as a key member of the Cambodia Senior Leadership Team (CSLT) and as the executive leader of the Poipet Campus. He or she will provide the strategic initiative and organizational leadership necessary to guide the mission and vision of the campus, ensuring fiscal operations, business development, and programmatic strategies are effectively designed and implemented across all segments of the campus.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Develop a campus-wide strategic plan in collaboration with the Principal of Bridge of Hope Academy (BHA) and the FP Executive Committee
  • Ensure the execution of the strategic plan is in alignment with the mission and values of FP and is consistently supported by budget and staff
  • Oversee in determining FP staffing needs and participate in the recruitment and hiring process for campus personnel, including teachers, in collaboration with the Principal of BHA
  • Model and maintain a high level of clear and respectful communication that will promote supportive working relationships throughout the team
  • Lead, develop, encourage, and care for staff, preserving a healthy culture
  • Provide annual reviews and a regular feedback loop to direct reports, encouraging continuous professional growth and learning
  • Community & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Develop and sustain positive and productive relationships with government officials
  • Promote strong community support of BHA, soccer program, and other campus initiatives throughout the local community
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with other NGOs, coalitions, educational institutions, and external partners
  • Represent FP at government and community events
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Executive Committee and CSLT to provide updates, discuss challenges, and contribute to important decisions that advance the mission of FP
  • Business Development & Operations
  • Develop and implement an effective admissions strategy for BHA to increase student enrollment
  • Guide all marketing strategies and execution
  • Drive the financial health and performance of the campus, ensuring the BHA meets or exceeds revenue and growth targets while maintaining mission
  • Collaborate with the Principal to evaluate and improve the success of BHA’s curriculum and teaching methods based on data and outcomes
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of all programs and activities, identifying and implementing strategies to strengthen impact
  • Ensure smooth and well-coordinated day-to-day operations
  • Oversee the stewardship of physical assets, including facilities maintenance and security
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Make sure all staff and activities operate in compliance with Cambodia’s laws and meet the requirements of relevant Ministries
  • Create, implement, and review policies and standard operating procedures across all campus programs and activities in collaboration with the National Director
  • Ensure robust campus-wide emergency, health, and safety procedures are in place and enforced
  • Implement and regularly train all staff and volunteers on FP’s child protection policy and actively look for ways to strengthen and safeguard child protection on the campus
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in organizational leadership, with NGO experience preferred
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and growing quality programs with data-driven program evaluation
  • Possess an action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative approach to business development
  • Strong relational leader, easily able to relate, motivate, and inspire people from diverse backgrounds
  • Upholds a high standard for excellence and integrity; models the mission and values of FP and BHA
  • Background in developing and operationalizing strategies which have successfully resulted in next-level growth
  • Ability to effectively assess needs, problem-solve, and implement impactful solutions under pressure
  • Exceptional communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English and Khmer
  • Calm and compassionate disposition

Campus Accountant

Position Summary

Duty Location: Poipet, Cambodia

Job Summary: The Campus Accountant will be an experienced financial professional with a thorough working knowledge of accounting principles and national requirements. He or she will be proficient in financial analysis, reporting, and training. This person must be proactive, excellence-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about working with an anti-trafficking organization.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Financial Oversight:
  • Provide financial planning, forecasting, and daily oversight to Freedom’s Promise’s Poipet campus
  • Assist the Campus Director in the development and implementation of annual budgets
  • Collaborate with the Executive Assistant and other key staff to ensure proper budget allocation and control
  • Monitor campus expenditures and alert the Campus Director and relevant managers to potential overspending
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues and provide actionable insights
  • Stay updated on accounting best practices and national standards, making recommendations to continuously improve financial processes
  • Strengthen the capacity of staff by providing ongoing coaching and training on budgeting, expense tracking, and financial procedures
  • Process accounts payable, ensuring proper approvals and timely payments
  • Manage accounts receivable, including tracking student tuition fees and following up on outstanding balances
  • Recordkeeping & Reporting:
  • Maintain organized and accurate accounting records, including the general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and supporting documentation
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for the Campus Director and National Director
  • Assist Executive Assistant in creating and filing government reports as needed
  • Prepare budget variance reports and monitor expenditures against budgeted amounts
  • Provide accurate and timely monthly reconciliations
  • Compliance and Audit Support:
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, government requirements, and applicable laws
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate smooth and successful audits
  • Safeguard financial integrity by monitoring and improving financial controls across the campus
  • Ensure financial contracts and agreements are properly executed and monitored
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years accounting experience with NGO experience preferred
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient in the use accounting software
  • Detail-oriented and highly analytical; excellent problem solver
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative mindset
  • Good command of both written and spoken Khmer and English
  • High standard of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrates mature Christian faith and positive disposition
