Assignment Location: Siem Reap, Oddar Meanchey, Kompong Thom and Preah Vihear Provinces.
Objectives of the assignment
The objective of the assignment is to support the capacity building in implementation of business plans for 14 CPAs under PEARL Project in line with Output 2.1 on increasing premium market access opportunities for cashew, cattle, rice, Kulen pig, safety vegetable production and other potential NTFP products through climate-resilient and high-value certification programs.
Scope of work
The selected service provider will be responsible for supporting the preparation, implementation and monitoring of capacity building on business plans for 14 CPAs under the PEARL project under GDLC/MoE in partnership with FAO Cambodia. The assignment will span 18 months from 1 July 2026 to 31 December 2027. The service provider will deliver three main outputs and its respective activities:
- Capacity strengthening to 14 CPAs on Business Plan implementation
- Training of Trainers (ToT) for CPA Committees
- Member-Level Training & Coaching
Eligibility
- The prospective Service Provider is expected to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Expertise of the company / organization submitting the proposal:
- Officially registered suppliers;
- Proof of successful accomplishment of the contract with the similar nature, minimum of three reference letters;
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in similar works, i.e. multi-disciplinary capacity team in business plan development, training on implementation of business plan and value chains, preferably in horticulture, cashew, mango, rice, livestock’s, NTFPs etc.
- Experience of work with local communities, mainly CBET, CPA/CF thorough participatory approach;
- Senior Experts, Experts and Senior Professionals must be fluent in spoken and written English. Professionals must have adequate working knowledge of spoken and written English. Most positions require the staff member to be fluent in spoken and written Khmer.
