Call for Proposal for Applied Research on Development of New Products and Process in Post-Harvest Fishery Sector

Scope of the Call
This call aims at offering funding to proposals in applied research focusing on any one or more of the following areas:
- The development of new products and processes in the post-harvest fishery sector,
- The development of fish processing solutions with the aim to improve performance and efficiency (e.g., reduction of costs) of fish processing technologies, including the improvement of existing products and processes,
- The development of relevant food safety or food technological solutions applicable to post-harvest fishery products and processes,
- The development of market studies to define marketability, access strategies of products stemming from the post-harvest fishery sector
- The development of gap assessment studies, including literature reviews and mapping the state of the art of the development of science, technology and their application in a given area of food / fish processing
Research proposals aim to contribute to attaining the direction charted by the Royal Government of Cambodia to promote reliance on technology and innovation as a means to support the addition of value to commodities produced in Cambodia and to bolster economic and human development.

Applied research proposals can include research programming that encompass activities covering a period from 3 to 12 months.
