Summary

Assignment Objectives

The objective of this assignment is to increase public awareness, understanding, and engagement in public financial management (PFM) by producing and disseminating accessible, evidence-based communication products, including talk shows, investigative stories, media articles, digital campaigns, and event coverage. Through these products, the assignment will translate budget documents, legal frameworks, and budget-related information into citizen-friendly formats, promote budget transparency and accountability, and strengthen the participation of citizens, particularly youth, women, and marginalized groups, in budget oversight and local governance processes under the SCOPE-PFM project.

Scope of Work

Under the supervision of API’s Head of Program, the consultant/media producer will deliver three types of communication products under SCOPE-PFM: (1) a talk show/expert discussion, (2) an investigative/impact story, and (3) a snapshot/event coverage. The work will include concept development, research, field verification, interviews, production, editing, translation/subtitling where required, publication-ready packaging, submission of final products to API, and production reporting.
