API Development Consulting (API-DC) is seeking a qualified Co-Consultant/Trainer to support the delivery of a Training of Trainers (ToT) on Effective Sales Presentation for Green Agricultural Technology (GAT) companies under the Accelerating Sustainability in Cambodia's Agri-Food System (ASCA) Project.

Summary

Assignment period: Up to 5 working days, including a 3-day in-person training in Battambang Province (26-28 October 2026).

Objective of the Assignment

The overall objective is to strengthen the sales capabilities of participating GAT companies through a structured, practical, and replicable Training-of-Trainers program.

The specific objectives are to:

  • Strengthen participants’ ability to deliver effective, customer-focused sales presentations.
  • Build participants’ facilitation skills so they can train sales agents, retailers, and other company representatives.
  • Equip participants with practical sales presentation tools, exercises, and coaching techniques adapted to GAT products and rural market contexts.
  • Prepare participants to conduct pilot training and field-based Small Group Meetings (SGMs).
  • Promote consistent sales messaging that links product features with customer needs, benefits, value, and appropriate calls to action.

Scope of Work

  • Preparation and Training Design: 1 Working Day
  • Review relevant project documents, TNA findings, available company materials, and participant profiles.
  • Develop and finalize the ToT concept, training outline, facilitator and participant materials, presentation slides, practical exercises, assessment tools, and action-planning templates.
  • Ensure the training outline is practical, participatory, gender-responsive, inclusive, and adaptable to different GAT products and company capacities, in Khmer.
  • Delivery of the Three-Day ToT: 3 Working Days
  • Serve as a co-trainer, working closely with the lead trainer to deliver and facilitate the three-day in-person Training of Trainers in Battambang Province.
  • Assess participant learning through pre- and post-tests.
  • Reporting and Finalization: 1 Working Day
  • Prepare a concise training completion report summarizing activities, results, challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations in English.
  • Revise and finalize the report and training materials based on consolidated feedback from API-DC and PIN.

Eligibility

  • A bachelor’s degree with substantial relevant experience may be accepted.
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience in sales, marketing, business development, enterprise development, or capacity building.
  • Proven ability to train trainers, sales teams, MSMEs, agricultural enterprises, distributors, retailers, or rural market actors.
  • Strong knowledge of sales presentation, customer engagement, value proposition, objection handling, and closing techniques.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Fluency in Khmer is required; working proficiency in English is preferred for coordination and reporting.
