This is not a traditional sales role and not a TVC producer position. We are looking for a relationship builder and strategic thinker who understands how to sell Educational, Development, and Impact Content.
You will work directly with the CEO to identify opportunities, develop pitch ideas, respond to RFPs (ToRs), and secure contracts while helping shape the company’s growth strategy.

- Clients view Chenla Media as a trusted communication partner, not just a vendor
Commission Structure (Practical & Realistic)
- New client commission: 5% of net project value on clients who have never worked with Chenla Media before.
- Existing client (new project): 3% of net project value on new projects secured from existing clients.
- Retainer/long-term contracts: 2–3% ongoing commission for the duration of the retainer/framework agreement.
- Commission payout: paid after the first client payment is received by Chenla Media (to protect cash flow).
- Strategic business development: identify and approach international NGOs, UN agencies, CSR departments, development programs, and government bodies.
- Idea-led selling & pitch development: develop creative pitch ideas, campaign concepts, and video series proposals; identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Sell core services: Documentary & Impact Stories; Instructional & Technical Videos; Event Coverage (photo & video).
- Relationship building: represent Chenla Media at development sector events, business chambers, and networking opportunities.
- Pipeline & proposal management: maintain CRM/lead database, track donor cycles and proposal windows, and coordinate proposal strategy with the CEO.
- Closing & negotiation: lead commercial discussions, support contract finalization, and ensure smooth handover to production.
- Base salary: USD 500–1,000 per month (negotiable based on experience and proven ability)
- Commission: on contracts secured (see structure below)
- Bonus: performance-based bonus for meeting/exceeding quarterly targets
- Growth: clear pathway to Head of Business Development / Commercial Lead; opportunity to build a small BD/account team as the company grows
- Experience in Business Development, Sales, Partnerships, or Fundraising (NGO/development sector experience is a strong advantage) for 2 years
- Language: Fluent English and Khmer (English is required for proposals and client meetings).
- Sector understanding: comfortable working with ToRs/RFPs and relationship-driven sales.
- Soft skills: confident communication, good listening, and the ability to translate client needs into video/communication solutions.
