Business Development Executive

The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong understanding of the construction and fit-out process, and a proven track record in sales and client relationship management. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating with our design and project teams to deliver tailored solutions.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Opportunity Identification:
- Proactively identify and research new business opportunities within target sectors (e.g., corporate, retail, hospitality, residential developers).
- Utilize various channels, including market research, networking, cold outreach, and industry events, to generate qualified leads.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging design and fit-out solutions.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with potential and existing clients, including architects, interior designers, consultants, developers, and end-users.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new business inquiries, understanding client needs, and providing expert advice on our services.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and foster connections.
- Sales & Proposal Development:
- Conduct compelling presentations to showcase the company's capabilities, portfolio, and value proposition to prospective clients.
- Collaborate closely with the design, estimating, and project management teams to develop accurate and persuasive proposals, quotations, and tender submissions tailored to client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial lead generation to contract award and handover to the project team.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Provide insights into market dynamics, client feedback, and competitive landscape to inform business strategies and service offerings.
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials and digital content in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Reporting & Administration:
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate client information, sales activities, and pipeline status.
- Prepare regular reports on business development performance, sales forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of [2-5] years of proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the interior design, fit-out, or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles, construction processes, materials, and project lifecycles.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Existing network within the architecture, design, real estate, or commercial development community is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
- A valid driver's license (if applicable to the region).
- Fluent in English, Chinese is an advantage
