Duties & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Represent GAEA in managing and implementing all provincial operational activities.
- Develop and execute annual objectives and growth strategies.
- Ensure full compliance and enforcement with internal policies, national laws, and waste management regulations.
- Provide strategic advice and future development plans to the National Operation Manager and General Manager.
- Public Relations
- Serve as the official representative of GAEA in Banteay Meanchey, building strong partnerships with Provincial and City Hall authorities.
- Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Provincial, City Hall authorities, and other stakeholders (Landfill administration, Department of Environment) to ensure the cleanliness and environmental standards of Serei Saophoan City.
- Represent the company in official meetings with government stakeholders and community leaders to align on public service goals.
- Ensure timely documentation and reporting of all high-level meetings with government stakeholders (Minutes of Meetings).
- Develop Awareness Campaigns in collaboration with Public Relation team.
- Operational Excellence & Service Delivery
- Oversee daily branch operations to ensure seamless waste collection services.
- Oversee daily cash collection according to National Customer Service Manager plan.
- Assist the NOPM in developing company-wide operational policies and procedures.
- Oversee recruitments, performance appraisals, staff training in collaboration with HR Department.
- Oversee and monitor the implementation of salary payments for the branch.
- Financial Management & Accountability
- Develop and manage the branch’s financial plan and annual budget.
- Monitor daily accounting tasks, including invoicing, billing, and cash flow.
- Review monthly financial reports and approve operational expenses.
- Lead internal audits to ensure financial efficiency and transparency.
- Negotiate with local suppliers to secure favorable terms

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word) and report writing.

Awareness Officer

Report to: General Manager
The Awareness Officer raises awareness among households, students, and businesses about good waste management and the impact of littering. The role also helps people learn about GAEA, its services, and how to register for waste collection. As GAEA's public face for environmental education, the officer builds partnerships with NGOs, delivers awareness sessions, and reports on results.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Awareness materials
- Prepare awareness presentations and materials in Khmer and English, tailored to each audience (schools, businesses, communities).
- Keep materials up to date with GAEA's current services
- Develop simple handouts, posters, and social media content
- Create age-appropriate educational games, quizzes, and activity sheets for school workshops.
- Outreach and delivery
- Schedule and hold meetings with schools, businesses, and NGOs to arrange awareness sessions.
- Deliver engaging, interactive awareness presentations and answer questions from participants.
- Conduct door-to-door community visits to explain waste segregation, collection schedules, and fee structures.
- Organize interactive workshops and live sorting demonstrations at local markets, residential blocks, and public venues.
- Facilitate focus groups and Q&A sessions with residents to address local waste management concerns.
- Support GAEA community events, clean-up campaigns, and environmental days (e.g., World Environment Day).
- Lead small sustainability projects in coordination with management
- Partnership and representation
- Represent GAEA in meetings with NGOs, development partners, community groups, and events.
- Identify opportunities for joint campaigns, clean-up events, and co-funded awareness activities.
- Liaise with local authorities (village and commune chiefs) to gain official support for outreach initiatives.
- Liaise with local authorities to solve environmental issues (illegal dumping, waste burning etc.)
- Establish working relationships with school principals and teachers to integrate waste education into extracurricular activities.
- Site visits
- Visit schools, businesses, markets, and neighborhoods
- Reporting
- Prepare a report after each session or site visit: date, location, audience, number of participants, key issues, and photos.
- Submit a monthly activity report

- Knowledge of waste management, recycling, or environmental issues in Cambodia is an advantage.
